Barely funcitonal

If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. AVOID!!

After it was updated the Ally was unusable and would freeze right after signing in to my windows account. I returned it and got the Lenovo Legion Go which is superior in every way.

Device failure after one use.

Once opened it turned on once and then wouldn’t power on again after that. Probably a failed motherboard from what I’ve read online. Beyond devastated.

Best Buy’s no help

We couldn't return it because my son brought it to the Philippines with him. Not really happy!

Really dissapointed

Once j got it set uo and updated everything, just about every game i played ran terribly. The frame rate was stuttery and distracting taking me out of any immersive experience. I dont know if this is a faulty unit or just an incomplete product but i never had these issues wirh the steam deck.

When the on screen keyboard loads for almoat anything it, it covers what you are trying to type. Aftwr getting it up and running every update breaks it.

Left thumbstick stops working

Defective Out Of The Box

From a lagging touch response on the touchscreen to 2 buttons not working coming out of the box new. I'd read reviews talking about the issues with build quality, and I suffered the same fate. Really disappointed with the product and will be returning on my next visit.

To resolve the issues, please check if the device is running with BIOS v319, Windows and drivers are up to date. ASUS provides warranty coverage for the product. We recommend that you send the product in for service in order to determine if this is a hardware issue so this may be resolved immediately. A RMA number is required to send it in for service.
