Really wanted to like it…Just Buy an Xbox

But there are major issues with running a windows system with a controller… and connecting a mouse and keyboard is a huge hassle, not to mention that it doesn’t even come with any sort of connector other than the power adapter. Very buggy software. Their built-in control center has issues with keeping track of multiple programs being open, and you’d just end up ditching it and using the thing as a tiny laptop mode without a mouse. Great idea…horribly executed. You might as well buy 3 Nintendo switches or 2 Xboxes with what you’d spend on this.

Cuarom profile allows cap on power to get a balance between performance and battery consumption. Asus is good with their bios updates to fix issues quickly. Latest nios allow max power pm 3rd party dock which is awesome

For one, it was shipped without any sort of protection or cushioning (i.e., bubble wrap or packing peanuts), so the ROG Ally box rattled around the larger box it was in for the entire shipping process. The console appeared fine upon first inspection, but powering it on revealed that the left joystick was broken and was drifting horribly. Better yet, the previous owner had tried to repair the console, and one of the screws in the back was clearly loose. I expected better service for the amount of money I paid. Now I have to fix this myself. Don't buy 'open box' goods from Best Buy unless you are getting an *extremley* steep discount.
