Honestly disappointed

Audio desync problems, buttons cutting out randomly, the fan is super loud on turbo mode which is necessary in a lot of games to run smoothly. I was super disappointed after reading the reviews to have had this many issues

Bad for micro sd

Amazing handheld…. When it works.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ended up returning my unit since it would gradually start having issues from unresponsive buttons, game freezing and even the armoury crate would not function properly even with all tue updates I can do. But when it was working it was great!!!! Maybe I just had a lemon but I wasn’t going to risk $700. Too bad…. I was really rooting for the ROG ally.

Heavily Used and Damaged Item as "Excellent"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Our of curiosity I went to check out an "open box excellent" at my local BeatBuy coz if it's truly in excellent condition at $505, why not? Ive read about how shady it could be with BestBuy's open box items and this one was no exception even being described as looks and works like new - it was heavily scratched, and apparently was sat on since it wss noticibaly bent. Realistically if this crap was listed on ebay it might stand a chance for $50 as a "for parts" item. I walked out the store and got it elsewhere. Can't remember how many times this business had let me down.

Set up issues

Several apps wouldn't open, even after watching multiple videos and updating Microsoft, Asus software, and other softwares recommended online. My Asus bios will not pop up after the restart. I have gone into the service settings and tried to run the Microsoft software and Asus software, but will still not allow me to run them. I expected the setup to take a while, but I am having to jump through extra hoops without it fixing any of my issues.

Horrible

It’s super slow and crashes on every game i attempt to play! Downloaded xbox game pass and if you even tap the screen while playing a game, it freezes. So dissapointed.

Poor Open Box Refurbishing Effort
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy did not update the device in the open box nor did they fix the manufacturing defect present in the device where the sd card was broken. Had to send the device into ASUS. Additionally the two day shipping is more of a suggestion they whisper into the wind when giving the package to Fedex the same day it was supposed to be delivered.

Wi-Fi was very challenging to stay connected consistently even where very few devices where connected to router. Since it comes with Windows 11 it unfortunately has OneDrive and Teams. Definitely not a take out of the box and start enjoying by any means. Do not buy this

Freezing constantly
