It feels good in the hands, control layout is great, and the screen is just amazing. I installed a new 2tb ssd upgrade. This was also very easy to do. Asus has how-to videos online, just make sure to update everything thru the MyAsus app first. Then you can use the automated cloud recovery to reinstall everything. I also own a Steam Deck but this will be my new go-to when I wanna do some handheld gaming.

Not as great as I thought

It was alright. Ran great. But the console was heavy and needed constant charging. Didn't last more than a little over an hour running on battery. Also wrists started hurting from holding it for a short period of time. Ended up returning it.

Awesome device! Better than Steam Deck

I had the Steam Deck, and when this came out, I immediately sold my Steam Deck. This decice is better in most ways - the only exception being the battery life.

I’ve been able to run triple A titles on it with no issues at all. The support from asus and the community to get games to run well and do other functions with it is just a google search away. I was able to play Forza Motorsport sport around 50fps on low to medium for 2 hours on a plane ride. It also has micro sd slot and you can take the back off and get more m.2 storage.

Im able to change fps, and all those specs as needed. Battery runs out in 2 hrs at lowest settings with battery saver. The system charges fully within 1 hr. Good for light and occasional gaming. I ran ff7 remake on lowest setting and graphics were still impressive !

It played Forza motorsport really well and control ran great. FPS will be tough on it due to stick length. When it's on sale I think it'll be a great pickup for any gamer. I liked the weight and feel much better than steam deck.

Easy interface, not as confusing as it seems and enjoy the fact I can run my emulators on it. Makes for a great handheld console for all things. All the while watching netflix when I don't want to game. Let's be honest, I love that I can dock it and use it as a computer. Pretty much replacing my computer at this point. Only downside is the speakers don't stay consistent. I plug in my own headphones so I don't get the whole crackle when playing games.
