I want to like it but the battery life is terrible, it's not great and has stutters, it's lacking in places I assume newer models are more well rounded. I sold mine after having it 7 months

I already have tons of steam games and this can run all but the most poorly optimized (struggles with a basic RTS called Northgard that it should be able to run haha). I just beat Elden Ring on this thing. It's great! Just be sure to buy a bigger SSD, you can even get an adapter to allow fun size NVME SSDs which are way cheaper.

Needs a lot of tweaking if you want to run demanding games and end up having to use lower graphics settings. Battery isnt all that great but it is a gaming computer in the size of a handheld. Ended up returning after seeing so many SD card port problems. My unit wasnt affected but it was only a matter of time.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great system so far with and without its flaws been about a month and couple weeks and can say it’s great system for the money … not saying that it’s better in optimization then steam deck because steam deck is still a easier and better experience when playing games. ROG ally is better performance the steam deck but still needs couple updates to make system run great and as flawless as steam deck … I would definitely pick one up if you haven’t yet …
