Great handheld device the only con is poor battery life otherwise great device

It is a very good device. Great for playing pc games or really any kind of game on the go

I love this portable windows handheld with what feels like the modt polished windows handheld experience. Not to mention what a power house this thing is! I truly recommend this thing 100%!

Was initially looking into a steam deck but with the outrageous prices of them I went with the ROG Ally and couldn’t have been happier! Pretty much a handheld gaming PC. Battery life is a bit of a bummer but overall highly recommend this device!

Works great, runs most of my games flawlessly and it is comfortable to use. It just takes a bit of time to setup and update everything.

ROG ally lets me play all my games from my PC on the go. Great quality screen and controls. Only negative is battery life but I generally play with it plugged in for the boost to performance anyways.

I recently switched to this from my steam deck and im glad i did. Gaming is so much better on the ally except the horrible battery life much like the steam d3ck.

Love it, the ability to play my games mobile and not limited to a single game store is amazing, the 1080p ips 120hz panel is super great, and have not had issues with mine since i bought it open box.

Great starter gaming handheld, a decent upgrade to a steam deck. It can play most games on at least medium settings quite well. Sd card issues and windows are a bit of a draw back, installing Steam OS definitely upgrades the device.

I love it… I can see what see and purchase Steam games and continue playing my xbox games on the go. Just watch those updates

Rog Ally for the win. Its extremely light and feels great in the hands, runs everything I throw at it and I have had 0 issues with it

Just got my hands on the ROG Ally and it absolutely rips through AAA games at 120Hz—on a handheld! The Ryzen Z1 Extreme makes this feel more like a pocket-sized gaming PC than a console. If the Steam Deck had a big brother with Windows and better graphics, this would be it.

I absolutely love it. It is a more than capable gaming handheld. The sd card area does get rather warm though. It makes me worry about its viability. Other than that, i would most definitely recommend.

Having a handheld PC like this has been great! In the home i stream games too it via Moonlight and with wifi 6 and AV1 encoding/decoding the latency practically non existent! Outside the home being able to load up FFXIV when im on wifi has been a game changer! Offline games are of course much easier to deal with. The other day inwas at Disney world and while waiting for a show i was able to quickly check my retainers in FFXIV and send them on ventures! Loved that. Playing lying in bed, fantastic, the Z1 Extreme is wuite powerful, and Asus has been committed to improving this device which is fantastic!

easily runs top AAA s at respectable frame rate. no issues at all. sound quality is mind blowing in games and display is way ahead of Steam Deck. found thumb sticks to feel cheap but in compare to Steam Deck but performance blew me away that I can easily bear with that plus I found windows not be as bad as many reviewer mentioned and infact easier to run multiple game stores and Xbox game pass is a unmatching value if you ever wanted to compare. overall super satisfied and will for sure sell my steam deck! I just wanted to thank Bestbuy for making this conveniently available at my and many other locations. Great purchase that you will never regret if you ever thought about having your games on the go. Can easily replace your desktop computer too!

So far so good, a little issue when opening the keyboard when first use but know I figured it out. Gaming is good but I wish the battery could last longer, it's really light and a good size, already upgraded to a 2tb.

It's pretty impressive how well it runs some of the more demanding games when plugged in. Battey life and game performance drop quite a bit when unplugged. I returned the system after 10 days. My memory card stopped working and my joystick started drift a lot. Great idea and if they fix some of the issues I may get one again but I did not feel like helping Asus work or the bugs.

Was curious about the handheld pc’s and got this one open box. Performance is good if your realistic and dont mind lowering the graphics or resolution for max fps gains. I would recommend this to anyone who likes handheld gaming.

Very good gaming portability, plays most games well. I like Forza racing. Graphics at 1080p 120hz is enough. Not many issues at all. Works as a regular computer if needed. Great for emulators

I travel a ton for work and now i can take all my games with me on the plane! Runs great, battery life is non existent, so plan on bringing an extra battery or your charger!
