amazing performance in a small package, only downsides are the white plastic gets dirty easily and the battery life isn't that great

This device is perfect. I had the Steam Deck, and when this came out, I immediately sold my Steam Deck. This decice is better in most ways - the only exception being the battery life.

Love it! The ROG Ally is the perfect handheld gaming system for any gamer. Glad I could score one for my son.

Got the rog cuz I wanted to play PC games in handheld mode. It was alright. Ran great. But the console was heavy and needed constant charging. Didn't last more than a little over an hour running on battery. Also wrists started hurting from holding it for a short period of time. Ended up returning it.

It was a bit confusing at first for us, but once we got used to it, my son has loved it for gaming. We bought it as a travel Xbox for him.

Love the device - it is not as powerful as a PC - want to stress this!! It runs alot of games great if you run them on lower settings!! Dont expext to run graphic intesive games with out some lag but overall i live it ran Spiderman Series was a blast, rum APEX no priblem awesome device!!

Amazing handheld for the open box price that I paid, if you can find it below $400 open box it is an amazing get still.

This device Is amazing for the price I got it for my only complain about it, is the short battery life but it's not the biggest deal. Id recommend this device to anyone who just wants to lounge around the house

Purchased this for my husband since he LOVES to game when we were about to have our little girl so he had something to do in the hospital! One of the best gaming consoles he ever owns!

Very good handheld computer. I use it for xbox gamepass and it works well for that. Battery life is short, but that was expected.

So far I have been enjoying the Ally for the most. Easy interface, not as confusing as it seems and enjoy the fact I can run my emulators on it. Makes for a great handheld console for all things. All the while watching netflix when I don't want to game. Let's be honest, I love that I can dock it and use it as a computer. Pretty much replacing my computer at this point. Only downside is the speakers don't stay consistent. I plug in my own headphones so I don't get the whole crackle when playing games.

If you’re looking for a good handheld windows based gaming application this is it. I’ve been able to run triple A titles on it with no issues at all. The support from asus and the community to get games to run well and do other functions with it is just a google search away. I was able to play Forza Motorsport sport around 50fps on low to medium for 2 hours on a plane ride. It also has micro sd slot and you can take the back off and get more m.2 storage.

It's a great concept and the system feels really nice but if you own a gaming laptop I think it's hard to justify ownership on this thing. It played Forza motorsport really well and control ran great. FPS will be tough on it due to stick length. When it's on sale I think it'll be a great pickup for any gamer. I liked the weight and feel much better than steam deck.

This thing is AWESOME! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Anything you can do on a PC you can do on here. Nice smooth 120hz screen. Highly recommend!

A fantastic handheld PC, it plays all of my games at acceptable settings. The screen looks fantastic, especially when 120hz is enabled.

I am very happy with my purchase, the Asus Ally addressed all my personal issues with the Steam Deck (screen, game pass support, speakers) Now the biggest elephant in the room is is it better than a Steam Deck? Honestly it depends on you as a gamer. If you are going to want to play more AAA games then the Ally all day. If you want simplicity, comfort, and still play most games the Steam Deck is the winner. I believe long term the Steam Deck will be the winner but the Ally is a wonderful device to add a touch of competition. In terms of the reviewss saying its buggy. I guess not many of them used a steam deck within the first six months of release.

What an amazing handheld PC this is I can take my Gaming on the go and play my Xbox Games through cloud gaming as well as Steam games for PC best purchase I ever made highly recommended for players that like to play on the go.
