The ally is great only issue is battery life but other than that a wonderful purchase highly recommend especially from best buy

Got it on sale for $599. DEFINITELY worth that, no doubt about it. Has run every game I play at medium or high graphics settings, 900p resolution, and always 35+ fps. Most games I average in the mid 40s. Highly recommend going ahead and upgrading the SSD straight away before installing games to make it faster and simpler. I used a 1tb SSD and can store plenty of games. Heck of a unit.

Its a great console and it has access to so many more games because of its access to steam, epic games, ect.

The Design is what I appreciated the most. Holding it feels natural. However it is heavy and it is impractical to play on charging all the time. But besides that its amazing.

It's great, you get a fast APU and great specs at the expense of battery. I wouldn't reccomend to anyone looking to play in enviorments where you cant find a wall outlet though. Armory crate which is the Asus version of big picture mode on steam isn't the best, but going into control panel and disabling fast startup for windows will fix almost all the issues you hear in other reviews. Once the device is setup and you tweak the fast startup option its a great expirence.

Love it! Plays everything i want and i can take it anywhere. Battery is okay, i get about an hour or so of straight play time.

Thought a long while to chose this or the Steam Deck. I ultimately chose this because it was cheaper, but it does not disappoint. Very ideal to use as a portable PC/gaming device. Havent explored the full potential of it yet, but its well worth it if youre looking for a handheld gaming device.

I use this to play my Game Pass games natively on the go. It took a WHILE to set up, but it has been great afterwards. I can play my games at 60 FPS at 720p without issue. This includes Killer Instinct, Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, and TMNT Shredder's Revenge. Its even better that i got the Z1 extreme open box for $560. If you can get through the initial setup, you will be very pleased with the product.

This handheld was worth every penny, runs great, is easy to hold and very lightweight. Only downside is the battery life

Works very well and expands the enjoyment of having a computer that is mobile. Works so well when away from home.

Amazing portable gaming PC. Running on windows makes the experience not great but games run amazing well.

Had a steam deck before but this to me is significantly better. Can pretty much play anything I want which is great.

I love that its a handheld gaming computer and i can play old computer games on it. Also doing other computir things like Words.

My husband sold his steam deck because he likes this device a lot more. He can play almost all his games on this. He plays it every day. No complaints at all.

The best handheld. I can do work stuff even on this tiny handheld device. Gaming is also super good with 60fps 1080p nothing can compare.

Only con is the battery but when you think about howuch you're pumping out. Great graphics, controls are comfortable, and very fast

The ASUS ROG Ally really surprises due to its performance on gamming, but also serving as a mobile personal computer. I couldn't recommend it more!!!

Didnt receive my xbox subscription with it after it was promised

The ROG Ally is not perfect, but the possibility to play all the games are amazing. The Xbox app is a game changer, the only negative side is the battery life.
