Up until the DAY AFTER my last day to return, I was really enjoying the Rog Ally. I work in IT and was well aware the updates, etc that needed to be done BEFORE using it. No issue with that at all...it is a handheld Windows PC. However, there is a clear issue with it using SD cards.If I leave my SD card in the device, the Ally performance cripples. Bear in mind, not everyone is experiencing this issue, but a number of people are. Asus is currently investigating the issue, but his is still very frustrating. I hope figures it out, but I believe Asus should have keptv the Ally "in the oven" longer.

You will need some experience with gaming PCs to have a smoother setup. This is my 4th handheld, each one getting a little better. This device has minor flaws ime but extremely good for being just released. Highly recommend!

I play a lot of games and I enjoy molding them like New Vegas. It runs them all really well it even plays starfield not on its highest settings but it’s very playable

He said it’s like a computer so awesome. His daughter also plays with it and she is 2. So I definitely would give it a 5 star due to the fact that they love to use it and it’s not sitting in a corner not being used!!!

In my opinion worth every penny the performance to battery life is exceptional better than anticipated. If you are in the market for a handheld gaming you should seriously consider this one!

Refresh rate and resolution are good. The cons for me are all the different software Steam, xbox, and aura. They clash alot until you get everything the way you need it. It just takes time, which isnt bad, it's just annoying at first. The real no no for me was the issues with the triggers and bumpers. My right trigger won't calibrate now and only registers as half a pull and the bumpers stick sometimes. I did buy an open box so that could be why. The customer service was good though.

What definitely takes a huge win over other handhelds is the screen! Beautiful display at 120 hz is a huge accomplishment

This is a major leap for gamers and i would reccomend to any on the go gamer. Battery life could be better but buy the upgraded black one for that.

Came from a Steam Deck and I am glad I sold my Steam Deck. This handheld plays all the games I want including call of duty. I have never used it docked so I cannot say how good it is docked. The Armory Crate makes setting refresh rate and TDP very easy.

As far as performance goes, this is the best hands down. Ive been wanting a handheld device that could be sold in stores (for warranty purposes) and im so glad that the ROG delivers. I use it every day and have not had a single issue

However, this is a very powerful gaming device, I ran Warzone on Mid graphics getting 60 to 69fps
