I play valorant on max settings 500+ fps,Fortnite maxed 120, and other games got around 120+

Windows just needs a mode to make it easier to select things. Using the joystick for a mouse works but can be tricky sometimes.

It seamlessly plays my steam and blizzard libraries and supports my day to day needs, as much as a computer can fulfill, of course. I was pretty skeptical but I'm definitely a fan!

(Enable hibernate mode in windows and assign it to the power button to make it work just like a switch). Great for those RPGs and other games I hadn't had time for.

It has it's hardware flaws but it is also very flexible being the closest thing to a native windows pc. Would recommend over steam deck initial release. But definitely no need to worry about performance.

But the trade off is it's more powerful and access to your windows games on Game Pass or any other non Steam service. I love mine. It won't replace my gaming rig but it's perfect for on the go.

Does exactly what it supposed to do. Yeah windows is a little janky to set up, but jf you play pc long enough you will get used to it real quick. Unlimited potential with external graphics card. SD Card slot is unreliable

We do understand your disappointment with the ROG Ally and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing overheating and issue with the SD card reader slot. To resolve the card reader issue, check if the memory card is working properly and the most current card reader and chipset drivers posted at: https://rog.asus.com/us/gaming-handhelds/rog-ally/rog-ally-2023/helpdesk_download/ . If you are experiencing overheating while gaming is normal. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full throttle. You can reduce this overheating by tweaking your hardware and performance mode setting using the most current version of the Armoury Crate utility. Furthermore, update Windows, drivers and the BIOS if outdated. Additionally, if you are playing these games online, ensure this handheld device has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system stability and performance. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. First handheld

If you know windows and are comfortable with that operating system, this is your handheld... If Windows is a big confusing thing to you, a stream deck may be a better choice and more console like...

You can jame a 2280 SSD into it. Not sure on the thermals but with a little cutting it fits. It is buggy out of the box so I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone, but I have personally enjoyed playing with it
