Great hardware but the software experience is still lacking compared the Steam Deck. Once you iron things it out it plays anything you want well.

In love with this Rog. It’s pretty much a small handheld computer that you can take anywhere.

I am completely shocked honestly. I thought this would be a gimmick after hearing a lot of bad news with this company. If you haven’t gotten one you’re really are missing out.

I bought this when it first came out and love the graphics on it. Battery life is great on it. I can play it anywhere in the house and it travels great.

If you're in the market for a handheld PC, I'd hold on a little longer. Installing/managing software here is a pain, performance takes a ton of tweaking for every game, and battery life is embarrassing. I could see certain use-cases for a device like this in its current state, but I think your money is best saved for a more streamlined device that will likely see the light of day sometime soon. Perhaps the SteamDeck 2 whenever that lands.

New asus rog ally, its worth buying. If you like to game i recommend, the buttons run smooth and fhe graphics is resolution. If works like brand new. The console goes hard. Thank you asus for the great console, waiting for more to come.

Amazing portable gaming device. I’ve tried one of the Aya Neo devices as well as a onexplayer, this is by far the most ergonomically enjoyable to use, comfortable and light weight. Powerful enough to play everything I’ve thrown at it.

I knew when I got the Ally that I'd have a couple hours of setup time. Updates, ensuring I had all the necessary drivers, getting rid of Office, etc. That was fine. After day 1, I had almost two full days of being able to use it without incident. Then the updates started and it seems like they never. let. up. I keep it by the bed to play if I can't sleep. I turn it on...plug me in so I can flash the bios. Really? That's necessary? I try another night. Windows has updated. Restarting. I use it when I work out, plugged into a dock. 2 out of the 5 times I tried to use it, major updates that took 20 + minutes. It's freakin' annoying. Yes, I could probably turn down the frequency, but honestly, they ARE necessary updates by and large. But it would be nice if they slowed their roll on how often they come out. When you're not staring at an update screen, it works great. Plays Cyberpunk well on battery. I've had fun with it. But those updates...and the fact you have to be plugged in for them...it's JUST about a deal breaker.

Just like a gaming PC, full Windows 11 and the speakers sound amazing! I wish it had one addtional usb port and support for ethernet networking.

Premium device. Feels great in hand. But please, to all negative reviews, make sure you fully update the device from Windows update and armory crat as well. I’m happy with the device, and it runs all the games I want over 60fps, in 1080p.

At first its a pain because of all the updates so the system can run smoothly but after the updates wow. I dont have to do any tweaking like i had ti with the steam deck to play games. This was definitely worth it. Good job asus

Works as expected with good speed and easy to setup. Windows is a bit quirky on a mobile device. The battery life could be better, but I purchased knowing the battery life.

Great system love the Rog Ally it became my main console for gaming and good customer service and communication and understanding for buying this from Best Buy

This Christmas present was a MAJOR hit for my guy. He’s incredibly picky with his tech and he LOVES this. He said Diablo 4 runs better on this than on his Xbox and has already gotten two more games.

Luckily mine was in the return window when the sd card reader went bad. You may want to get the extra warranty. Otherwise a beautiful system

I've had a week with the ally rog and haven't had any problems the battery does drain fast but so does a laptop when gaming. The controls are good as well. Just wish it used nvme since i had extras instead of 2230 ssd

I've been nothing but impressed with the ROG Ally. The performance surpasses that of my steam deck, plus the added flexibility of installing from other sources.

This is an awesome piece of tech for both games and productivity. With windows 11 as the os it is capable of running the programs I need to do remote work and with the integrated controls it plays well too.

I brought it for my grandson and he loves it. He calls me at least 3 times of week to tell me that I am the best grandma and he loves his gift.

In love with my console. I bought it open box and it came like new, saved so much money. Great performance. Battery is pretty good too.
