I get that this device has a lot of power being drawn from it, but if you are going to make it portable make it poratble. It has its glitches as everything new will. It has several updates some kept failing and during first setups lots of updates are needed very time consuming. Also over half of the storage is gone before even downloading anything.

Great device, I use it everywhere and really works great. There are a LOT of updates out of the box. That is to be expected with a brand new device in all aspects so it was understandable.

The ally is great, if you want powerful gaming on the go this is your best option. The new 323 bios update made this machine even more stable and fun to use. The ASUS Ally for the win!!!

I love this device. Ive had both the steam deck and this device. I prefer the Rog Ally. However there is one major issue. It heats up so hot that the sd card slot will not work. This forces you to update the storage. If this device is geared to make pc gaming less intimidating for a more casual audience, then fresh out the box I would have to give it 3 stars.

Honest review time. This thing is ok, but definitely need ALOT of improvement. It does play some games great, but at what cost? Well… the biggest flaw here is the battery life. Asus made a portable gaming system that gets you about an hour unplugged at 15watts. Which mind you is not going to get you anywhere close to 60fps on medium to high settings on basic games such a skyrim, gta 5, or even basic titles such as minecraft. On top of that, to get somewhat decent frames for a playable experience, you need to jump up to 25w. Not a problem, but good luck playing it for 20 minites unplugged. They need to figure thr battery life problem out. BIG TIME. I took this on a 3 hour plane ride, and had to charge it 3 seperate times. Yes, it does play some games great. But they need at least a 50whr battery in this guy. Orher than that, it runs windows as a OS and that runs terribly on a handheld. Should of went the linux route like the steamdeck. All in All, a 2/5 for me until the battery issue is reoslved

So much fun to play my games when and where I want. Especially since my children have commandeered my Xbox and Switch.

Love the system a little difficult but you get used to it still got a couple bugs that needs to work on and update like any other PC but it's really great it's better than the steam deck

It is more than I expected..I am still learning more and more about the ROG ally. Sucks that it doesn't have that many accessories..

Great for gaming however i just found out that my microsd card reader is not working may be buggy.

Great handheld pc. Sold my steam deck to buy this because it works better for my needs since I use game pass. Runs starfield and cod great to my surprise.

personally i love this console. I would change 2 things, first you dont have an hdmi or mini hdmi port to connect it to a tv, and second the battery is going to die in 1- 1:30 hours.

I really liked it, all the games can be played very well, the only bad thing is that it has very little storage space

Preforms just as expected. Initially I had some storage reading issues but I got them sorted pretty quickly. Loving it so far

Bought open-box and it came in perfect condition. Able to play AAA games on the go and has only gotten better performance-wise and ASUS continues to push updates.

As an owner of ps5 and switch, I was hoping that I can easily download games on ally and play them without playing around with settings much. But turned out that it’s more complax than playing games on my 4090 pc. Many of terriablely optimized games like gta III definitive edition would suffer to run at 1080p 60 fps even with everything set to low or off. You would also have to try different settings to get a sweet spot of both graphics and frame rate. But generally speaking, it’s still an amzing device. I use it mainly to stream from ps5, it will have to run an older version of remote play and with software to trick remote play to think that I’m using a ps4 controller.

I’ve usually used a backbone but this product is useful and neat especially if you have the proper accessories.

I love it. First one didn't work so good. Second one works like a charm. Can't beat the price too for this type of machine. Lenovo is next on my list. Thanks Best buy

I love this device i take it with me everywhere i'm a truck diver and i love the fact i can play my games that you usually need a system for. The only problem is you need wifi

This thing has been awesome so far. Been playing alot of no mans sky. No problems out of the box for me.
