Best counsel decision i made in a while, play most of all games

Fantastic i love this thing picked it up just after launch so far no issues just keep in mind first time setup is the same as setting up a new computer so it takes a while but worth it!

The ROG Ally has really suprised me. It’s way more powerful then I originally thought for gaming and productivity. Heck i’ve even been using Premiere on it to edit and color grade video!

Awesome device. A bit of a learning curve, but fun while u learn

This has been one of my most favorite purchases. I have opinions on Windows but the benefit of being able to easily install different game stores and play any game outweigh any other frustrations. I did upgrade the storage immediately to a larger drive, which was pretty easy but depending on what games you play you may not need to.

Memory Card Issues Persist I purchased the device upon release in June. My SD Card Reader broke on August 18. I updated the bios, drivers, etc. as they became available but the card reader still failed. Lucky my cards still work, just the reader broke. This is a common issue that was supposed to be fixed with a bio/fan curve update. Bummer those updates didn't work for me. Hoping the can return it quickly.

Very good device. Although a lot of software edits now and again to get the right functioning for your games

In my opinion it's better than steam deck. Because in asus I can play the Xbox games. And the screens are a little bigger and the only bad thing is that the battery runs out very quickly.

Overall, the Ally is a great product. I just wish the Windows OS itself wasn't such a memory and system hog, which eats up resources which could be better applied to playing today's games. Windows is simply a very sloppy OS, caulk full of junk and dead code. It's definitely needs cleaning. The Steam Deck beats it there because of its clean, and finely tuned OS. Either a very Lite Gaming Version of Windows could become available, and/or a future model of the Ally come w/expandable memory. 16 GB of system memory just doesn't cut it w/both Windows and w/many of today's games running.

Awesome profuct. Bought it to replace my PC. Wish it came with the dock adapter instead of paying an extra $65

Other than the sed card problem This is better than the steam deck in every way. Also buying a new hard drive that is bigger is super easy to install.

Extremely easy to use and set up. Everything at the tip of your finger. Quick buttons make the gaming experience easy to navigate and adjust when needed.

Great but gets hot everytime you play for an extended time

Cool little device, surprisingly powerful. A little overpriced. Had to upgrade the SSD to a 2tb. 512gb is nothing.
