Superb piece of kit. Can safely sell my Steamdeck. No more janky linux/proton fakery that works only 50% of the time. Supports all of the digital storefronts. Great device.

I have had my Ally for several months now. It was gifted to me by my wife towards the very end of July. This device is awesome. Best mini PC i've ever owned.

Computer repair technician here. The machine is great, love Asus ROG. The condition was not, as it was listed at open box, and has "inspected by best buy" on the box, but was a faulty unit, with stick drift on the right joystick, and non-functioning speakers. Open box lists full functionality, and minor scuffs or scratches, not a defective system with no cables in the packaging, but that's what I sort of expected from Best Buy (no hate, it happens), so I'm okay with it. Not everything can be checked, and I don't expect someone to be that thorough with a unit they only really need to spend a few minutes with. It makes sense, because it's quantity over quality for best buy, and there no other place to get one of these in person around me. Thankfully it's nothing that I can't fix, and I already had a 65w type c charger for my rog phone, but it worries me to see what would happen if a non computer repair technician were to buy this, expecting what was listed like I was, and not as equiped for the situation. If they offer warranty, I likely wouldn't accept it given the common turnaround time, but again, it happens.

It's good, but could be better. The power is great! The problem lies with the battery.

Works great! Runs a starfield and the other programs at it with zero problems. Hooks up to my tv via cdock or HDMI cable which was very convenient.

This supports all my needs for mobile gaming when I wanna kick back and relax ! It’s also gives my gf the chance to play some pc games comfortable from the controller

Screen looks good. Design looks good, but they put full fledge windows, OS on it. Failed! All these pop ups about windows defender etc. people just want to pick up and play games no questions asked. Steam deck all the way. Return

Its better than other handheld likd aya neo and aokzoe. Cant compare to steam deck because of the price and easy to use. If asus put more time into it will be the best handheld

Great handheld bit on the expensive side but you have the capability’s of a computer in the size of something you can put in a oversized hoodie

Plays helldivers 2 and palworld well. Good entry point into pc gaming. Can be plugged into a dock for the full windows experience.

Very happy, even with the small inconveniences that comes along with widows.

Great handheld device. So far I have ran Civ 6, Fortnite, Lego Fortnite, Halo MCC, and modded Baldurs Gate 3. It has handled everything very well.

This is the best handheld on the market hands down. Can run call of duty like a boss. I added 4tb ssd with adapter. Can play any game. Old and new

Great gaming PC. Don't expect it to be the same as a console. It will require you tweeking (some games) with the settings in order to have the games running smooth.

Extremely pleased with this purchase, I was originally thinking about getting a steam deck, but hten did some research and decided that this was a better fit.

Great device, has a few bugs with windows and setup but patience and time to for asus to sort out the sd card issues will make this an even better handheld gaming device!
