After initial set up and updates, the unit restarted windows crashed to the blue screen, and I was stuck in that loop I had to go into the Bios restore windows from Asus cloud server which took a couple of hours. Also, there is a lot of windows programs that wast space. Ive played Halo for a couple hours and it doesn’t run nearly as smooth  as it does on the SD i’m sure you can fiddle with settings to make it run better but in my opion you shouldn’t have to. I will be returning and hanging onto the deck for a while.  Also the Ally feels very small and cheap It’s not nearly as comfortable as the SD the grips are very thin. The screen looks beautiful though.

It's regrettable to hear you've encountered issues with your ROG Ally. Please know that you can run Steam in Big Picture mode and enable controller support in Steam to help with setting up the Ally with Steam. To improve gaming performance, set your system to Turbo mode. Other than that, you would need to make sure you're caught up on any pending updates on Armoury Crate and Windows update. Handheld for adults
