I have sent it in for repairs twice and I will be asking best buy for my money back. Instead, buy the Ally X. It doesn't have the same issues.

We certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if you need to send the ROG Ally twice for card reader issue. ASUS is an ISO certified company, as a result, all products go into a strict quality manufacturing standard. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections that ensure each one is trouble-free. We are aware of the card reader problem and this has been resolved by a hardware fix. If you are still experiencing issue, this is random. ASUS provides warranty coverage for the product. We recommend you send the product in for service to determine if this is a hardware issue so this may be resolved immediately. An RMA number is required to send it in for service.
