10/10 love this console! i rarely have time to sit down on the couch but i’m glad i can take this device anywhere i go! i even use this as a portable PC when I need to do certain tasks when my laptop is not nearby.

The Ally X is the one to have. If you dont already have a Ally, get this! The battery life is great, AAA titles will get you around 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Emulation is king here! Look forward to having hours of fun playing tour favorite retro games. This is a full fledge laptop in a handheld form factor, so on the back end, be prepared to configure things behind the scenes to make the usability and playabilty more seamless. This is the ONE!

This thing plays my favorite titles and I can take it around the world with me. I know in the past the Armory app has not been well received but I think the bugs have been worked out. This device has a windows desktop but its rally needed with how seamless the Armory app allows you to bounce between the different luanchers like Steam, Xbox, and Battle.net.

It is a handheld console that far surpasses its predecessor. More Ram memory and better ssd. You can see more how long the battery lasts.

This handheld gaming PC is a contender amongst the gaming industry which says a lot compared to some of the most expensive and less affordable devices.

If you are looking to get an all round handheld system this is a phenomenal option. As it is easily capable of running most standard PC titles. Moreover, it will emulate most systems as well especially the Switch if you are looking to jump ship as I was! The case and fan setup are separately bought!

I bought this 5 months ago and I still love it! The performance is smooth, the graphics are amazing, and the controls feel super comfortable. It’s durable too — even after heavy use, it works like new. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves gaming on the go. Definitely one of my favorite purchases!

I absolutely love my Rog ally X gaming handheld well worth the investment, you can do so many things other than just play games it’s like a mini pc

Having this is a game change to my constantly travel schedule. the pure power to run AAA title with great playable framerate, also having VRR is a big plus compare to the steam deck. the windows operating system still have room to improve, but if you know how to tinker, change it to Steam OS (Bazzite) will make the experience a lot better.

Amazing device, the perfect pair for people on the go and at home , versatile and a great hybrid when space is limited but gaming is a must. Will always love my AllyX

So, I never used windows on it. I removed windows and put Bazzite on it (Linux that mimics SteamOS). I turned this machine into a more powerful steam deck. Cannot beat it. Don’t even use my 3080 laptop anymore. As a married man, this is perfect to pick up and play; then drop all in the span of 15 minutes. I love to play Triple A titles. It handles it SOOO WELL.

I own a Steam Deck OLED and previously a Legion Go. The Ally X has all the power of the Go and the weight and size of a Steam Deck. I personally like the size and feel of the device and am surprised by how quiet and cool it stays. Not to mention its compatibility with alternate OSes like Bazzite. I’ve had zero problems running games at 60-90 fps. The battery life is also pretty good considering, though more AAA titles will definitely draw power, which isn’t a problem for this device. I also like how easy it is to upgrade the storage as compared to other handhelds.

At this point I can't imagine my life without a portable PC like this. I originally had the Ally Extreme and I liked it so much I decided to upgrade to this. The battery life difference was a big factor and this one is much improved. Everything works pretty well and surprisingly Armory crate fits nicely for this device. Highly recommend.

The ROG Ally X has been a great upgrade from my privious Ally. The extra memory and new form factor really make a difference. I am able to play games much better and smoother for much longer. This is truly a great upgrade. If you’re thinking about buying an Ally, go with the X. You will not regret it!

I’ve had my ROG Ally X for a bit now, and honestly, I love this thing. I play on it every single day. The performance is awesome and games run smooth, the screen looks great, and the controls feel super comfortable. It’s just really fun to use. I can pick it up whenever I have a few minutes, or sink into a longer session without any issues. It’s become my main way to game lately. If you’re thinking about getting one, I seriously recommend it.

I’ve had several, and the rig ally x is just so sexy and the performance is top tier even in this day of age, with all the new devices coming out, it will and always be my go to, only gripe I have is I wish the screen was 8inches, and it would be absolutely perfect! Definitely recommend!

I couldnt be happier with my new handheld gaming device, the ROG ALLY X is a wonderful machine. It was a bit of a journey with my order but the TOP NOTCH customer services I have recieved from BestBuy Customer Service really made all issues easy to fix! They made sure I came away happy!! I WOULD NOT HESITATE to shop with BestBuy again!!

Basically an extension of my home pc I play this constantly. It doesn’t come with a 100 watt charger, however if you want one buy one it’s not really needed. I can play any game I have on pc and my ps5 with remote play for ps5
