It is technically a windows computer that runs with an xbox interface but that didn't bother me. For a somewhat casual gamer I thought this was an awesome purchase.

It's comfortable to hold, it plays most games well, the screen is 1080p 16:9 so you won't have any annoying black bars in games like some other PC handhelds and the SSD is super easy to upgrade unlike some other PC handhelds.

The download time for the game is very long and I cant even play all of the games I own on my Xbox unless they have a pc version. I love halo and it runs very well on the ROG XBOX ally but if you didnt like this game this handheld would not be for you.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bough this 2 times becsue someone said that you need to do all updates from windows and asus and that would make it work fine, well i did everything and still had a terrible experience, random freezing, games taking forever to load, screen getting stuck, when the game did load it was hiccuping all throughout the game with medium settings on, this is not worth $400 dollars the way it performs, i returned it a second time, i bought 1 from bestbuy and 1 from microcenter, its safe to say i will never purchase another one..

Setup was a bit lengthy, and you have to download your games that are not included on the cloud gaming. Additional information, you need to have game pass premium, ultimate, or PC for the cloud gaming and for additional storage you can purchase a micro sd.
