The device it’s self is great, I have not complaints. I can actually use my Xbox headset to connect via voice chat without having to use wired connection, even connects to my shockz! I love it. Plays AAA games perfect, minor lag in cloud play, doesn’t not get hot like the Ally 7’s do. Battery Life is amazing, I have not run it dead playing COD yet.

The download time for the game is very long and I cant even play all of the games I own on my Xbox unless they have a pc version. I love halo and it runs very well on the ROG XBOX ally but if you didnt like this game this handheld would not be for you.

I would only buy if it’s on the 489$ discount though, otherwise get a leigon go s or steam deck.

Definitely going to take some time for all the updates, but very useful for portable gaming. I've played palworld so far mostly (on steam and on Xbox). Runs well. You will probably want to buy one of the power/dock stations if you plan on playing on a TV or monitor or if you want to plug in mouse/keyboard. Got it on sale for 500, definitely worth it, I think the full price would be a little much though.

I do think the price is steep but he requested it for Christmas and loves it! It’s a nice way for him to take his games between his households. He would recommend 5/5!!

The buttons are clunky and the X gets randomly stuck since day one. I'm not a Xbox user so the Xbox game thing just gets in the way. I do enjoy the ease of use and that Steam games run fairly decent on it. Just remember not all pc games are compatible with a controller and may not be the best for someone who has non-compatible games.

I wanted this handheld for the many times I want to play a game but can't be in my cave on my Xbox and it delivers that. It also allows me to experience the steam side of gaming which I never thought would happen because I wasn't a PC gamer.

Is PC but also has the console feel to it when you are using bid screen mode or the Asus Armory feature. There is a bunch of You Tube tutorials rhat are really easy to follow. Recommended!
