    I thought it would be able to carry my favorite games unfortunately it did not. I had to return since it was lagging so much. Maybe for a child this would be a great buy but honestly not worth it

    This is not an Xbox. There are too many older games that I would like to play, but they're not available to play from Xbox..

    Needs more power for most games.

    As most have already stated this machine is mostly for minimally demanding games. COD, arc raiders and those tupes of games stutter a lotand the entire aystem moves very slowly. The Xbox Ally X is by far a better performance device but yiu sre oaying a lot more. This one is comparable to steam deck but with windows an and LCD.

    It's too slow, only you can play games that aren't AAA. Battery goes fast. If you want a handheld console/PC try the ROG Xbox Ally X

    They said it was in excellent condition but this came without a charger, and customer support says they can't help me and I have to reorder after already having to wait for a delayed delivery.

    Bulky and heavy. Would not want to have this on a long car ride. Ea games are not available on Xbox app and you have to download ea separately.

While the device weighs 670 grams, it is generally considered portable. Some users find the ergonomics and weight distribution comfortable and others prefer the chunkier grips. You are correct that EA games are not available to play natively and solely within the Xbox app interface. To play games included with your Xbox Game Pass for PC or Ultimate membership, you must install the separate EA Application on the device.

    I bought this for my husband for Christmas. The system kept freezing and then started just showing half a screen. Took it back to Best Buy and they returned it and ordered a new one. The new one is also Glitching and freezing. Im just gone return it for a full refund

    Ebay might have the original ally z1 extreme for the same price or lower. Better specs. Looking for the xbox experience? Just add the fullscreen experience with Xbox and Windows insider.

    The battery life is very poor ended up getting rid of it for a lot cheaper than what I bought it for and I just bought it

      Indeed, The ROG Ally does ran AAA games with high performance. However, the battery drains faster for high-intensive games. We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if battery life is very poor. To prolong the battery life, turn down the screen brightness via the Command Center, limit the power consumption for less demanding titles, capping the frame rate can reduce the load on the GPU/CPU and disable lighting to save small amounts of power.

    A lot of Xbox games are not optimized for the handheld yet. Loading times are very slow for Ally.

    Poor Customer Service

    As for the product I don't have a review because I never recieved the item. And have tried for a months to get help from best buy to resolve the issue. However they keep telling me that a supervisor will call me and that never happens. Now im out $600 and its past Christmas so what to do now

    B buttons stick and at times it wouldnt run the most basic games correctly

      We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if the B buttons stick and you're unable to run basice games correctly. If the B buttons stick, try wiping around the edges and crevices using a cotton swab dampened with isipopyl alcohol. You need to press the button repeatedly while cleaning. If you're unable to play basic games, check if Windows, drivers, BIOS and games are up to date. Updates for the ROG Ally are posted at:  https://rog.asus.com/gaming-handhelds/rog-ally/rog-xbox-ally-2025/helpdesk_download/ . Additionally, check if you are running the most current Armoury Crate utility software. The most current version is available for download at: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury%20crate/helpdesk_download/. While accessing cloud games or web applications, ensure the device has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor and unstable internet connection will affect system stability and performance. Keeping the device always updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "MyASUS" utility software or application.     Bought as an open box. It was defective. Should have never been taped back up after the first return and sold. Anyway. Never could get it to connect to my son’s account. Took it back. Hopefully they don’t resell this device.

    Don’t buy this it is heavy awkward to hold and took forever to download games and it won’t play madden even though it says it does. Do yourself a favor and get the switch 2 it’s way better!!
