100% completely satisfied with my purchase. From the picture to performance, everything is TOP NOTCH. Price a little on the steep wide, but what more could you ask for for the price.

My job involves me traveling all over the states so this thing is amazing for that! -Battery life is amazing on performance mode i can get aout 2-3 hours on more then enough for quick gaming. -Ergonomics is great feels just like a xbox controller. -Screen size is the same 7 inch display but i would rather have a light weight device like this then some bigger screen causing my arms to fatigue while gaming.

The ROG Ally X is a solid upgrade in performance and battery life, and overall it feels more refined than the original model. However, the screen being the exact same as the previous Ally was a letdown for me. I wasn’t expecting OLED or anything premium, but even a slightly larger IPS display would’ve made the device feel new and worth keeping. Because of that, I ended up returning it. If screen quality and experience matter to you, this upgrade might feel underwhelming.

I was hesitant to buy this handheld PC because it was going to be my first one and its really pricy. Everyone said the steamdeck was a great beginner handheld PC but i didnt wanna fall in love with handheld PCs only to feel like i needed more horse power. I bit the bullet and went for the xbox ally x. The first day i got it, it was a frustrating experience that made me regret it. I picked it up from best buy at 3pm and did not play a single game until the next day because thats how long it took to set up. All the updates would stop or have to restart if it was on sleep mode. I chaged the setting so the device would never go to sleep mode. I watched YouTube videos to optimize it. Restart it like 10 times. While updates were taking place my games would download under 1mb per second. All that being said, after it was all set up, it worked great with all my games. The games i got from game pass also work great. Ive been playing sekiro, indiana jones, Halo infinite, and max payne 3 at high settings and my FPS mever drops to less than 60

I had my ROG Ally first Gen for a really long time before I purchased this. I just have to say the difference is amazing not just with it's power but with it's battery life and it feels so much better in my hands too. I've been having an absolute blast playing my Series S Xbox library with Game pass and my slowly growing library on steam. My only complaint is I can't swap the functionality settings of the armory create button and the built Xbox button that both do the same thing. Overall I absolutely love this device.

Definitely the strongest PC gaming handheld, the performance is superb. The display is solid with crisp visuals, good color presentation, and smooth frame rates. The premium build and design of the handheld is impressive it feels good in my hands with everything where it should be. Also, you’re not locked into one store you can access games from Xbox, steam, epic games and more .

This is a pretty stellar handheld gaming PC. It isn't quite as amazing as the Legon Go 2, but spec wise it is very close, suffering only for an inferior and smaller screen size and 24GB RAM instead of the Legion Go 2's 32 GB RAM which I think makes a difference. That said, I find myself reaching to this device for more casual play on the go more often than the LeGo2 simply because it is the most comfortable play experience you can get thanks to the lighter weight and amazing controller-style grips. The Xbox Full Screen Experience also makes the Windows element more tolerable, but when you first get it do be prepared for around 6 hours of updating (make sure you get those driver and bios updates), and do not under any circumstances buy this thinking you will get a genuine Xbox experience....it's 100% a PC in a shoddy console disguise.

Very comfortable and responsive with great battery life and the windows full screen experience is a welcome plus.

This is a fantastic system. It's a great PC with a fantastic interface and one of the most comfortable controller experiences in the market today. Let me preface my review by stating a little about my background with handheld PCs. I had an original preorder for the Steamdeck. I have the MSI Claw A1M. I have the original white ROG Ally Z1. This "Xbox" Rog Ally X is a fantastic improvement over those models. I wouldn't recommend it for those that own the Z1 Rog Ally X, but it's a noticeable improvement over most other handhelds. Comfort is easily the best I've felt with the handheld PC catagory. It feels natural and easy to hold for hours at a time. Battery is also very impressive. Most AAA games give 3 hrs of gametime. Your average indie will see 7 to 10 hrs. Audio is superb! Don't know how they managed to pull it off in such a small space, but it has fully immersive surround sound! Play Doom: The Dark Ages on this and be amazed! It even manages to kick some bass up when needed! It's not perfect... the interface still needs some tweaking, but it's a step in the right direction. Hopefully with future updates, this will open up Windows as a competent medium for playing games, and not the giggle joke the internet "influencers" try to make it seem to be.

That 80W battery plus the portability is amazing. You can literally play for hours. I highly recommend this.

This thing is truly a little power house. I would highly recommend for someone who likes playing games on the go. Really the only knock is battery life. That is just me looking for something that could improve.

What an amazing device, sold my steamdeck to get it and I totally dont regret it. It plays all my games on steam, epic, ubisoft and the xbox store/gamepass. I can also stream all my xbox games from my console flawlessly. To be honest its the most comfortable device to use for long gaming sessions, perfect for being on the road.

Coming from both owning a xbox series x and a pc, definitely recommend this handheld, some xbox games aren't supported for it but sheesh, the on the go cloud saves definitely rocks. I be playing forza horizon 5 (xbox), BF6 (EA play) and GTA4 (steam) at work and when i get home to play, it's already synced and ready to go. Obviously you'd need wifi in order to sync. Besides that, quality is durable, game play is like playing a psp when it first came out. Crazy of how technology advanced so much since.. worth the buy! Don't be fooled by "it's an xbox" because yes and no, you'll see what i mean when you pick it up yourself. So far, my friend sold his legion to buy the xbox ally and enjoys it better.

First thing first I did return the product but not for bad reasons just didn’t see myself using it a lot since I usually don’t travel a lot and I have a PC at home. The time that I had it I played Battlefield 6, Arc Raiders from the steam, Fortnite from epic and Expedition 33 from Xbox Game Pass. All games ran pretty good for a small system, small adjustments had to be made of course but after they ran pretty smooth. The system itself is a PC not an Xbox which I knew before hand. So just a heads up it’s not an Xbox for those who think it is. The UI is pretty good and the main screen is pretty easy to use. My only complaint is that the system is slow to respond switching between Xbox app, steam, etc and sometimes wouldn’t want to open the apps. If I had a more use for this product I would’ve kept it for sure. Just don’t really need a handheld pc since I don’t travel or commute so much and when I’m home I’ll just play off my PC or consoles.

I'm amazed at how well these things run games and it's fast. Have a MSI Claw 8 AI and they both rock. Battery life is great and i love the new xbox overlay. I do admit there not cheap, but it is made well and the ergonomics are top notch. If your on the fence, this is a buy.

As somebody who has played on all handhelds except for steamdeck this handheld is the best yet so far. The new Z2E chip is a lot faster than its previous version and offers better graphics. This handheld comes with 24 gb of ram but it will only allow you to go up to 16 max which you will never need that much for any game. The new optimized Xbox full screen experience minimizes system processes to allow for a better game experience and you can easily swap between it and desktop with a quick swipe of the finger. The new Xbox experience also allows you view your games from other store fronts like Steam and Epic for quick access due to everything being all in 1 place. There are optimizations needed but it has definitely come a long way. I’m very optimistic about Microsoft’s dedication for this handheld as they are always updating the Xbox full screen experience and windows os for better gaming. There is also a quick access menu for ARMOURY Crate to adjust game settings on the fly. It’s still a little buggy though but I would definitely recommend to any consumer but I would recommend the higher end model if you’re willing to shell out the extra money. It’s totally worth it! My favorite handheld! Loving it!

Very good product that plays all the games I want. Fans aren’t too loud and battery life is great. However the controller itself could be better, while the holding it feels great the buttons aren’t the quality I would expect from a 1000 dollar purchase as the front facing ones are very loud. My trigger buttons also make a strange noise.

Shipped fast, product was in excellent condition upon arrival despite being an open box purchase. Controller feels good and is comfortable for extended play time. Battery life is excellent! I am very pleased with my purchase!

I absolutely love this new console! The ability to play most of my Xbox games on the go, on the same device as my extensive steam library, is a literal game changer! I will admit the price is quite steep, but you get a high quality device for the cost, and I have been nothing but impressed since getting it!

I love the ROG Xbox Ally X! Its incredibly convenient to take on the go and have all my pc games at my fingertips. The Xbox full screen experience is truly a game changer over other handhelds. I also love using this on a dock and connecting it to my tv.
