I love this handheld , by far the best one out there even at the price range . I started gaming “PC “ with my steam deck OLED and loved it , great introduction to the PC world for beginners but with my Rog Xbox ally x I can do more things, my games run smoother, I don’t have to fix things unless I want o Dave Battery etc I would change a few thing s but aside from That I love this thing, I cant stop gaming on it . Even though the battery is bigger it doesn’t not feel heavy at all. The screen is NOT an issue if you are going to compare the screens to a OLED steam deck. Wehrrr this is beta for Xbox or not it’s a great way to get into gaming and or Xbox gaming

Great battery life on this. Also the quality of game is amazing. Fits well in my hands and is fairly light for the gaming power it has. 10/10 would buy again.

A have a bunch of handheld gaming devices and this is easily the best. It loads up quick, plays everything I want it to, and is incredibly comfortable in the hands.

I've had it over 3 weeks now and fully enjoying it, being able to play PC games on the go is a game changer. The speakers are loud and the screen size is decent.

Love this hand held gaming system. It is very user friendly. And compatiable with a lot of games. The battery life is cery good as well.

Runs great. Love the performance. Wish more xbox games were "play anywhere titles". Out of my 100+ owned games, only Hollow Knight, Silksong, and Mortal Kombat 11.... love my portable emulator and steam machine though!

Fantastic handheld pc, epspecially if you run bazzite instead of windows, you not only get more performance but also a signifigant increase in battery life.

The grips are a great improvemt from the last ally x and the battery life is still killer with that 80wh great for playing games on the go

When I got the xbox handheld I played with it for days and never had any issues with the performance and has great quality to it and I would definitely recommend.

I find this review a little difficult to write, as I have not spent much time with my new ROG Xbox Ally X, as I’ve reached an age where I just buy things and rarely have time to play them, lo siento Señor Buy. But overall, the unit feels real nice the in the hands, and I have had the opportunity to play a few things. I would have to say it is the most comfortable handheld on the market, but the screen leaves a little to be desired, not going to knock it down past 4 stars though. Ultimately, if you are looking for a Quality Windows handheld, this or the new and more expensive Legion Go 2 are your Huckleberry. If you are looking for something more pick up and play, grab a Nintendo Switch 2, that one really takes it up to 11!

I love this handheld. Being able to run more than one launcher plus emulators is a blast. Playing anything from BF6 to Fallout New Vegas to Emulating College football 14 with the College football revamped mod with zero issues. If you want the most out of a rog handheld, this is your best friend.

Best purchase ever the ergonomics on this handheld are the best of any gaming pc handheld. I do recommend this handheld specifically if you are a dad who doesn’t have to much time to play you can take this handheld anywhere very compact and comfortable to play with. 10 of 10

It feels and plays like an xbox controller with a screen in the middle. Super comfortable, the weight doesnt bother me. But it is definitely buggy at times. Software crashes on more intense games, so you will need to configure the settings accordingly. When swapping between games, the process is still pretty clunky. The whole handheld is saved by the flexibility it provides no matter what. It’s almost as powerful as a mid range PC, but has the ability to be docked to an external GPU to run just like a high end PC. Overall, im very happy with the purchase, just need microsoft to fine tune a few things to make the user interface smoother.

The xax is a beast, and it compares very well to other handheld pc. I have fhe legion go , steam deck oled, switch 2, claw a8 but i would choose the xbox ally x as the most pratical handheld out of all of them. The soeakers are amazing, the performance is very good, and i really like the software updates for armory.

Love this handheld. It works great for everything i need in a portable pc. Its super comfortable to hold even for long gaming sessions. I have had no issues so far. Love it!

Gaming portion of the device works well. Initial updates and setup took a long time as well as getting rid of Windows/Office bloatware that no one should need on their gaming device. Once you get the settings configured and start playing games the device works well. Just try to stay away from the Windows side of the house as much as you can, it leaves a lot to be desired.
