This is a great gaming handheld, but I can't give it more than 4 stars because of the deceptive "this is an Xbox" marketing. This is a PC gaming handheld.

Awesome device. The grips are so much better than other handhelds. OLED screen is the only thing lacking but everything is is perfect.

Great handheld been playing my xbox games on the go with my hotspot. I did have to upgrade my hot spot for the 5ghz to get a more stable connection while playing cloud games. WORTH IT! THIS TBING IS A BEAST!

I originally bought this for myself and i loved it. My son saw it. I let him use it once and now its his. So he has an early birthday present. Get myself one after i pay this one off

Really the best handheld I've ever used (and there's been many) great graphics, sound and fits perfectly in your hands with no awkward positioning. Steam even runs great on it

I love my ROG ALLY X!!!! But i feel like its slower than it should be. Whenever turning it on snd booting it up it takes a long time, whenever im switching apps its takes a hot minute for them too load. I was giving it the benefit of the doubt and just telling myself “well its basically a mini computer its gonna take some time for it to callibrate everything and get situated” but its been two weeks now and its still pretty slow. But regardless of all that it’s amazing! Everything runs smooth and feels very fluid!

Works great if you intend to use it as a handheld. If you're just wanting a PC with perks. Just get a prebuild with a 5060 for less than this and the accessories to dock it

Runs games from Steam with no issues. Excellent hand-held experience. Only down side is the weight but not a deal breaker

Awesome portable device, can play anything tou throw at it, but you do have to find the best settings for each individual game.

Absolutely love this device! Runs big games very smooth! My only warning is that this is a PC, not a console, so theres a learning curve to using it.

Takes awhile to setup but once you get everything configured I find this device to be way better than my steam deck. I absolutely love my steam deck but I always dreamed about having my xbox play anywhere and steam games together in one place. Requires someone who enjoys tinkering a bit so I love it. The main thing that I can't state enough is just how quiet the fans are. When I push this thing to the max I can barely hear the fans. I can't say that about the steam deck or legion go.

The ROG Ally X is an incredible gaming device. It's perfect when plugged in and just pretty good when it's not. But honestly, I haven't found many instances where a wall plug was totally out of the question. The only downside is that sometimes when you boot it, the keyboard freezes so you have to reboot. It's a minor issues that's usually resolved within one reboot. Highly recommend for enjoyers of heavy RPGs like Fallout.

I can actually play first person shooters on this, both Destiny 2 and Call of Duty. That's what I was hoping for. Wasn't really able to with Steam Deck.

Great design , battery life and performance but be ready to do work on settings

Worth every penny! I preordered this, waited over a month to receive it, and don’t regret a single penny. It’s expensive no doubt, but it’s basically a portable Xbox! My boyfriend has zero complaints with it! You’ll be happy you got it!
