It’s great. I haven’t found a game that I can’t get to run good on it. It has software that you can adjust on the fly to get max performance. Plus it runs games from any platform with just a normal button press. It has ruined my steam deck oled.

Excellent hand held gaming PC. My daughter take it with her everywhere.

ROG XBOX ALLY X is my favorite purchase of 2025. ROG & XBOX really perfected this machine and it only keeps getting better with ongoing updates. Absolutely recommend this handheld PC.

Quality of product is good, the stand that it comes with though.. is cheap pressed cardboard. Startup took a couple hours before I could use it, not the greatest of instructions, had to figure somethings out. You can easily swap from controller to cursor. Overall it was worth the purchase, just somethings I would've changed.

Makes gaming on the go super easy and when im feeling lazy on saturday morning and i dont wanne geton my pc i can game in bed comfortably! Though i don't like that pc gamepass doesnt work with this device while it acts like a pc in every other way

I’m surprised to say the XAX has mostly lived up to my somewhat unrealistic expectations of a $1K hand held. I’m new to PC gaming so the jankiness and splintered experience has been an adjustment, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons. I was previously taking my Xbox S when I traveled for work and that was inconvenient enough for me to make this investment. Depending on the games you play the white version is probably good enough but I’ve heard at the $600 price point there are much better options

Set up time was much longer than expected, but otherwise everything about this device is awesome.

Having access to multiple library's of games and being portable means I don't have to switch between my xbox or PC to play some of the games I own. I can just chill on the couch and play.

Excellent portable for gaming on the go. NO need for WiFi for owned games and utilizes all gaming ports besides Nintendo, unless you do emulators. The bad was its new and there is a need for updates for minor bugs and glitches and some crashes. Price is high but I enjoy it more than the steam deck.

Awesome machine. When plugged in, I can play most games (bf6, Outer worlds 2, arc raiders) on high/ultra settings. I wish the built in control was more like an elite controller but the current setup is usable for online gaming.

Works as intended zero issues running all games at 1080p so far. Only thing I donot like is that Microsoft raised prices on Gamepass to 29. Had I not already pre-ordered this unit I would not have purchased it due to price hike.

Honestly it works super well and I'm really happy with it. It does both my xbox and computer games. I stress tested it using detroit become human and ran into zero issues other than slight lag while not plugged in.
