This thing is pretty amazing. It was very easy to upgrade the storage to a 4 TB if you want you can upgrade all the way to an 8 TB literally took 10 minutes to swap out the SSD‘s amazing performance for a handheld. I am very impressed at this item over the steam deck. I’ve been very happy with the progress that the ally has made over the years. Just remember before you get started to open armory crate and make sure everything is up-to-date. Takes a little bit of time but as well worth it. And if you pair it with a keyboard and a docking station, it is basically a laptop. This thing does the exact same stuff that my 20 22 rog laptop does.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas, he’s is extremely satisfied! Loves how powerful it is! Plays his fighting games but also his RPG’s. Even runs smoothly with his mods! He’s super satisfied with the space capacity, the longevity of the charges, and everything about this hand held ticks all his boxes. From a purchasing standpoint I also have to give my experience five stars, I bought it and wanted it shipped in time for Christmas, but due to stocking issues it had to be shipped from the manufacturer, that was explained to me and it’s still arrived three days before Christmas even though the estimated arrival time was supposed to be January 2. Was very satisfied.

Very good handheld you can play on the go or with charger in , good performance for a handheld specially when combined with game pass , im happy with this purchase, I bought 4tb nvme too and changed it and it was very easy to replace and reinstall the system

It still has some minor bugs, but they are constantly working on updates so it will run smooth. For being of this size it is really light and ergonomic, it has some really loud speakers. Overall I'm really enjoying it and i know with time and updates will just get better.

The handheld is super comfortable to hold while playing games. It is easy to transition from the xbox home page to the windows desktop and back again. Games run smooth and look great. Battery last long enough for gaming on the go.

I own many of the best PC handhelds; MSI Claw 8 AI + and the Legion Go Z2E but the XAX takes the cake when it comes to egronomics and quality. I don't have to tamper with the setting much unlike the other two handhelds I have and it's a Windows operating system, just put it on turbo mode. I can actually play with this handheld for hours without any hand soreness due to it being so lightweight and feeling like an actual premium Xbox controller! In terms of its controls, the haptic feedbacks and joysticks are so much comfier and easier to play FPS shooter games like Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty compared to the Claw and Legion Go 2 combined. The only thing holding it back is its screen but for it being 7-inches it ain't that bad especially if you wear prescription glasses. I can def forsee Asus and Microsoft (Xbox) coming out with at least an 8-inch and an OLED screen in the near future if a second version of this device is released. In all honesty, this handheld is one of the best handhelds in the market and I def recommend to get one if you can, these things are selling out fast so grab one before they become extremely difficult to find. Also, I do recommend open box first to save yourself some money. Love my XAX, I can't complain!!

Wow, okay, as a total newcomer to the whole PC handheld scene, I have to say the ROG Xbox Ally X is seriously impressive. It took me a couple of days to figure out the whole Windows layer—I use Macs and game on my PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X—so there’s definitely a bit of a learning curve if you’re coming from pure consoles. But, the Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE) is a game-changer (to me). It genuinely makes this thing feel like a dedicated console from the moment I turn it on, after I got used to it. I'm rocking it with Game Pass Ultimate and downloading everything through both the Xbox app (GPU) and Steam. I've been running demanding stuff like Battlefield 6 and ARC Raiders, and it chews through them without breaking a sweat. So far, I haven't hit a single game or setting that has given me trouble. If you’re like me and hesitant about jumping into PC handhelds, or you're just looking for a powerhouse, I'd recommend the Xbox Ally X completely!

The biggest issue is when docking the device with an External GPU and a dock. The Handheld PC doesnt come with a 100watt charger, it should be 849.99USD given it doesnt come with a GPU or Case. Otherwise it is a near perfect experience with Windows 11 / Xbox Full Screen experience. Doom the Dark ages boots no problem and plays really well after installing the Drivers from AMD's website. Just when you boot the game ignore the prompts unless you haven't downloaded the AMD Adrenalin Drivers yet. Game runs at 1080p medium on Doom The Dark Ages with RT rather smoothly. Not exactly 60 fps in gameplay but you can tweak it to do that. Its cheaper than a desktop PC right now but still kind of overpriced.

So far its been amazing! Games run fine! Its a great handheld sound is fantastic

The build quality is great and very comfortable with the controller grips. The battery life is good especially with the amount of power it offers. The only negative is the windows OS. It does a decent job in game mode with keeping windows out of the way, but there are still issues tha need to be ironed out.

Since purchasing the Xbox rog ally x my experiences has been nothing but flawless & the battery life is great. I highly recommend this product. It’s pricey but it’s worth it.

I've been wanting a gaming PC but didnt see the point being an OTR truck driver. Got a docking station to go with this. I absolutely love this device. Being able to play custom zombies on Black Ops 3 is amazing.

The Xbox ROG Ally X is as the title says almost the perfect handheld. Other than having to sometimes deal with windows and it's performance issues. Handheld itself works beautifully. Allowing you to play xbox games through PC gamepass and cloud streaming, as well as also being able to use some titles that have the play anywhere capability. You can also play games from other storefronts. As well as steam and epic pretty much meaning you can take your entire game library on the go or if you wanna play games while watching something on your TV. Most games run on high to ultra-high settings Though the picture quality is not as great due to the size of the screen. The memory storage is pretty decent. You get a terabyte allowing you to download quite a lot of games and it has a microSD slot, so you can have additional storage pretty easily. The size of the handheld itself might be a little big for some people. But it feels really good in hand and my it doesn't feel like your hands will cramp like with a switch. If you're like me and have big hands. 4/5

I love it. I think the battery life on it is amazing and that it’s really comfortable and convenient to play games on. I’ve been playing games like Fortnite, call of duty, and Dead by Daylight and the performance is great. 10/10 highly recommend.

Been in the xbox ecosystem for a long time, but this thing rocks. It's awesome to have a solid handheld option as well as steam access! Highly recommended
