If you are looking for a great handheld this is the one to get. It handles any game I throw at it.

I thoroughly enjoy it everything is amazing. I wish it came with a docking station like the switch or steam deck but overall amazing.

Works well and playing all my games including top titles. Very impressive performance and high FPS counts for a windows handheld. Windows is very well optimized and uses minimal system resources. Would definitely recommend.

Owned an original Ally And this is a big step up from that handheld. Faster processing, better gtaphics, Im very impressed and satisfied with this pirchase.

As a pc gamer I'm used to the controls and apps that are necessary to wade through on the Xbox Ally X. I'm also familiar with the slow downs of Windows based devices. And the Rog Xbox Ally X is no exception. There are work arounds to Windows' limitations, but that's a different review. This handheld should feel second nature to any pc gamer. But it may take a consoler a bit of getting used to. Tweaking individual game settings for that perfect experience will put some people off. Some pc games play. Some don't . Mainly some older games may not be optomized to play straight away without some tweaking. Cloud gaming unsurprisingly is not as smooth as installing on the local ssd. Still just a fun as streaming to any other device on your network. Speaking of storage You will want to install a larger ssd. As any early investor can tell you, the Xbox Ally X will benefit down the road with greater updates to the core system. I have no doubt if I picked this up a year from now it will be a richer gaming experience through the multitude of upcoming updates. The ergonomics are fantastic! I can't be more comfortable with a handheld. Much less one of this size. Some naysayers diss on th 7" screen. I cannot disagree entirely. I will say whilst gaming I don't really pay attention to it. With the exception of native PC game text size. But the bezzle and layout tells me Asus/Xbox should and could have put an 8" screen on this to make it more appealing. Sticking with LED is fine, but yeah it needs an 8" screen. Some texts in pc RPGs can't be adjusted and makes it really hard to read. As an RPGer that is my biggest hit to this system. Not sure how or if a later update will fix or address this, but I can only hope it does. The price is about 2 benjamins too much for what I've seen. And that 7" screen for my needs is too small.

Great piece of hardware. Handles most games out with ease. Easy to learn functions and love the integration of Xbox library. Just one complaint, the triggers are low quality for the price tag it should've had better triggers.

Very nice to have a portable computer/gaming device to play pc and xbox games on. I will say this is not an xbox but more of a pc with an xbox app.

The size and feel is fantastic for long mobile gaming sessions. The battery run time is decent. Having native play is a gamechanger. 9/10 must have!

Overall good. A lot of updates. And if you don’t have your charger on you when it needs updates your screwed
