It offers everything I was looking for without compromise. I was hesitant on the screen but turns out it’s actually nice and the smaller size means more comfortable to hold and better portability to lounge around with.

But like other cons that have been stated screen size lack luster screen size and not being able to play all your x box games is a let down. oled would have been a plus but not a deal breaker.

The user interface is very hard to get used to. It is great to connect multiple services to one device. I have bought a dock station for this so I can use it on my TV. Getting used to a keyboard instead of a controller can be very tricky.

The system feels like I’m using an actual controller and not awkward feeling like switch and steam deck and yes I own them all. The price is a bit steep but worth it to me.

I prefer to use steam for pc games and itd be better if they could partner with xbox to make an app extension but honestly its not that big of an inconvience. Games run great screen looks good. Lack if OLED is not an issue for me. I did purchase a 1Tb sd card but space is going to depend on the games you play and install.

Screen is unforgivable

I actually thought the Xbox app implementation wasn’t bad. Yes it’s Windows, but everything worked. Unfortunately the screen is just too small, too dim, and has weak color production. Picked up the MSI Claw 8AI Plus and the screen alone makes the Xbox ROG Ally obsolete. Asus picked the wrong component to skimp on. The screen should absolutely be the top priority for every handheld manufacturer.
