I recently purchased one of these in hopes to returning to gaming as I’m a father of 3 young kids and simply can’t find the time or desire to sit in front of a console or tv for an extended period of time. This device changed everything! It’s been nice having the ability to game while sitting beside my spouse in bed as she reads or watches tv. Initial setup wasn’t necessarily the easiest but a quick search online and following a guide made it easier than expected. Highly recommend purchasing one if you have trouble finding time to game.

Overall extremely impressed, It's a little heavier than a steam deck but sits comfortably in my hands....It feels solid and I love that the joysticks light up.

Been using this alot more than my Gaming Laptop. Its so much easier to play while traveling. Battery life is great too! Im able to play Halo MCC on Max settings and play for a good 5-6 hours.

If you are looking for the absolute best way to play your PC library on the go, this is it. The upgrades ASUS made with the Ally X make a massive difference in daily use. The battery life is phenomenal compared to the original model—the 80Wh battery easily handles long gaming sessions without constantly looking for an outlet. ​The ergonomics are incredibly comfortable for long sessions, and the 24GB of RAM gives games plenty of breathing room. Having Windows combined with the Xbox team's UI optimizations gives you total freedom to run Steam, Game Pass, and Epic Games without the restrictions of a locked-down console OS. The 120Hz screen is bright, smooth, and beautiful. Highly recommended!

Great gaming device - Runs super smooth on AAA titles, great Windows interface for a handheld, and strong battery life for this kind of system.

Solid workmanship. Easy set-up. Lots of storage. Plays all or very nearly all of your existing XBox games as well as everything that Steam has. Ally X also supports several other gaming sites. Thus far, operability has been smooth and seamless. Even with the included charging/power solution is only that of a mere 65 watts, the overall package of the ASUS ROG/XBox Ally X ranks at a solid 5 out of 5 stars. As a final recommendation, gamers are strongly encouraged to include in their gaming set-up, the ASUS ROG BULWARK DOCK (model DG300) as the WoW factor will go beyond fabulous!

I’ve been loving my ROG Ally X, it’s perfect for gaming on the go. I travel a lot, so not having to bring my whole Xbox console is a huge win. It’s powerful, portable, and runs everything smoothly wherever I am.

Best gaming handheld all around ! I love that it has a better battery life and most AAA games work on this thing! I came from just playing the steam deck lcd version and upgraded to this and it was worth it!

So i bought the xboz rog ally x like 3 momths ago and not gunna lie best purchase ive made this year by far. The portability of the rog is absolutely stunning to be able to play my pc games on the go with good performance and looks is amazing. The battery life is good enough to play non stop in the car for my 3 hour car ride there and back and still had battery to play a little when i got home befor i had to charge. Now some of the AAA games do have a little harder time playing on it but once i messed with the settings in thw game itbwas runnimg fine

Amazing gaming device. My girlfriend bought for me for my birthday and I only got to play it once. She took over and mainly plays on it. But it makes her happy so I’m stuck with my Xbox. Other than that, it plays steam games and Xbox games really good and she uses it like a computer. It has its occasional glitches like not wanting to synch my Xbox data and or freezes but it’s still not bad. Price is a bit high so I wouldn’t exactly recommend the product since there are handhelds out there that works the same and or better. But if you like Xbox… which some people aren’t anymore, but for those who still are… I probably won’t recommend it still… but it works great! Not $1,060.00 after tax great but great?… stick to steams handheld. Works just as good unless you like having the feeling of an Xbox controller, then get this.

This has been great. I picked this over the steam deck. I have been able to play most games without issue. Madden has some slight stuttering but I read that may be an EA issue. My only complaint is the battery life. If traveling or not able to plug it in, you get a solid hour and then it dies. You need a power bank or something to extend timing. For offline gaming it’s best to put the games directly on the device which is an added cost.

Really liking the handheld , runs AAA pretty well and the battery life is really nice for on the road.

Can do so much with this product. Play games in the palm of my hand, watch TV. Perform my work related task hooked up to my monitor throughout the day etc etc. so many uses it just fits into my lifestyle

Whether it be new games, older games, or classic games the device runs great. Battery is excellent.

Life long console gamer. First time handheld Pc user. Learning curve for the basics wasn’t to bad. Plays great and very comfortable to hold. Even though it’s not an OLED screen it looks great. Screen size is good for me but wouldn’t mind an 8inch. Multiple game stores to find what interest you. A very powerful entry level gaming platform with ease of use. Storage space not an issue but will be my first upgrade.

Light, comfortable to hold, can play triple A games on good settings. I have very few complaints.
