After spending some serious time with the ROG Xbox Ally X, I’m genuinely impressed. The Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme is as powerful as advertised—it handles everything I throw at it with ease. What surprised me most was the ergonomics; the grips make it incredibly comfortable to hold for long sessions without my hands cramping up. For a device this capable, it doesn't feel nearly as heavy as you'd expect. It’s well-balanced and feels premium. However, at a $999 price point, the lack of an OLED screen is a bit of a letdown. While the 120Hz VRR panel is great, an OLED would have made this the undisputed king of handhelds. Still, for raw power and comfort, it’s a win.

Love the product! The ease of having my Xbox on the go is great. Only reason I have 4 stars is due to not being able to access all games due it being pc based. So some games like GTA I would need to start over. I still use my Xbox console as my primary.

I am very happy with the Xbox Ally X. It's a leap forward for Windows on handhelds and is exactly what I was hoping for. It's not without flaws and bugs in the Full Screen Experience, I give it 5 stars for the leaps it's made and because it is a great experience most of the time. It's already being improved and I'm sure they'll continue to make it better.

this device is awesome in every way I'm extremely satisfied yeah its pretty powerful has disappointingly decent sized screen and of course I wasn't the happiest fan when the price was first dropped but after getting my hands on it I was sold. the ergonomics are superb

After all the expected updated everything works as expected. I really enjoy the possibilities with this pc handheld. Of course you can do the same with similar from different brands but the ergonomics available for the hand placement really goes a long way when playing for longer sessions. Over all l no complaints and very satisfied.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband and he is constantly playing it when he has down timeafter spending a day at work or time with me and I love this for him because he recently had to sell his Xbox for financial reasons so i feel like this was a great way for him to be able to get a piece of it back.

Excellent hand held. Super fast though when setting up be aware Xbox will not launch if it is not up to date and can be something that gets you hung up initially.

I would give it a 5 star but my experience been good and bad I dont know if it can be because is my first gaming handheld and I am still getting used to it, learning how to tweak settings to obtain better performance but 1tb not enough I download call of duty warzone been trying to download it without filling up the whole memory, I have 2K 26 Fortnite and Mortal Kombat one I am trying to install Warzone for like the fifth time because it's been giving me issues and I try to run it and the game crashes when I finally get to download it. Downloads are slow they take forever which is so annoying and time consuming this couldve been a great handheld but I think in my opinion it still need some work because they advertise it to play everything but right now my experience with gamepass havent been great, I download it dolphin emulator and even gamecube games sometimes are kinda laggy not much tho tiny hiccup here and there to me this is not worth 1000$ dollars I have until may 7 to return it I would try to figure some info on how to make the games run better and get better frame rates but this portable experience made me appreciate my gaming console more is a great handheld just not worth 1000$ price point at 1000$ this should totally replace my console I do like the controller is comfortable tho I would recommend the handheld but it definitely need some work

Overall great performance and a good value device— especially now. I was pleasantly surprised by the XBOX Full Screen Experience as someone coming from a Steam Deck. I’m eager to see as that software continues to improve. The controller-style grips have made the device very comfortable and natural to hold, albeit a tad heavy for me. I am still struggling with the screen size but have found that using my XR glasses makes that negligible.

Great machine with excellent premium materials great performance

Great product. Plays most games at 60 fps with no problems. Surprised me and still does as the days goes on. Switching between Xbox mode and desktop mode is the best

Overall, the controller style grips are fantastic. Screen is nice but nowhere near as good as tbe Legion Go. Windows version of big screen mode works. I found that a kot of my games start to screen tear, and had to do quite a bit of settings tinkering. Cannot get GOG games to detect the controller. Overall, mid. Not terrible yet nothing to gloat about.

While the device works amazing and has great visuals, I give this a 4 stars to reflect the poor UI. The UI can be glitchy at times and requires you to touch the screen quite a bit which I am not a fan of. My biggest complaint about this whole handheld is that it missed an amazing opportunity to be an XBOX handheld and instead is a Gamepass PC handheld. If it were able to play native xbox one games, it would be a game changer.

This is the absolute best gift for my husband, he loves to play video games and he can take it with him when he travels, it is multifunctional, watch other things, put his earbuds in and go!

There isn't a single game I've played on this device it can't handle. Such a pleasure to play on the couch and enjoy a well designed and comfortable machine to hold and play

This item has been AMAZING! Everything works amazing on it I have been playing Expedition 33 on it with medium graphics and it runs great for me. Fantastic handheld the only thing is the fingerprint system on the thing is very sensitive and sometimes does not work properly so it makes me input the pin.

Absolutely amazing best handheld console ever runs everygame in my library seamlessly truly an innovative console and hopefull they kepp having many more to come ASUS AND XBOX Really took the cake on this

Love how easy it was to play games but wasn't what I expected. It was kinda heavy while playing in bed but using it in desktop mode would have some glitches. At the end of day it was great at some games but not the games that I would play.
