Awesome product worth every penny. Gamepass, steam. have not had a problem playing battlefield 6 or any big title games so far great performance for a handheld. This product is way better than the steam deck oled which i have as well

It fits perfectly in my hands. I tried almost all of the new consoles, this one was the perfect fit. Nice and light with steller performance.

Although paying $1K for this really irrational (my thinking), the experience is changing my opinion. The performance is good in battery mode and the turbo mode while plugged in is on par with a mid level p.c.

The ROG Xbox Ally X is one of the best gaming devices ever. It has the portability of a switch, the power of a console, and the practicality of a full Windows PC. I use it as a replacement for my home PC when I want the same functionality but don't want to be tether to a desk. The processor is phenomenal and the virtual GPU works better than expected.

I’ve been enjoying the ROG Xbox Ally X, it is noticeably faster than the Steam Deck and the fans are much quieter than the Lenovo Legion Go S (the two other handhelds I have used), especially when running in lower power profiles. However, for the price you could get a Steam Deck and a Switch 2. Plus the new handheld Windows expirience just isn’t as polished as SteamOS, lots of small bugs and issues. For example sometimes the pin code to get into the device just doesn’t work until you restart. And sometimes switching windows causes a game to be tiny with no way to maximize it. Not sure if the value is really there considering these devices shine for indie games and platformers which don’t need all the GPU performance. Although it can play many AAA games I’d usually defer to a console or PC with a bigger screen.

Honestly this device has taken over my gaming laptop and my xbox console. The performance of this handheld has completely surprised me with its features and ease of use. Every game i have run has run flawlessly, and has not caused the system to overheat or bog down. I have already recommended for my friends to get one as well.

Love it. I can play my favorite Steam games and have the quality performance in all of them. Worth the purchase

Minus paying $1000 the ally is a great handheld option and the windows/xbox integration is pretty seemless

I bought this for my husband. He loves it. He know has something to occupy his time when work is slow on the weekends. He says it’s easy to use and handle.

Love this handheld. It has a few setbacks but thats to be expected with what it is. The battery doesn't last long so you have to keep it plugged in for long gaming seasons. I like the fact i can dock it to my tv and play. I dont like the fact that i cant play my entire Xbox game library unless you want to play on the cloud (and cloud gaming its terrible) or you have to buy the pc version of the game. Thats kind of a bummer.

Excellent portable for gaming on the go. NO need for WiFi for owned games and utilizes all gaming ports besides Nintendo, unless you do emulators. The bad was its new and there is a need for updates for minor bugs and glitches and some crashes. Price is high but I enjoy it more than the steam deck.

Awesome machine. When plugged in, I can play most games (bf6, Outer worlds 2, arc raiders) on high/ultra settings. I wish the built in control was more like an elite controller but the current setup is usable for online gaming.

Works as intended zero issues running all games at 1080p so far. Only thing I donot like is that Microsoft raised prices on Gamepass to 29. Had I not already pre-ordered this unit I would not have purchased it due to price hike.

Let me say, instead of spending hours in my office late night...I play my gamepass games in bed. This has been a game changer. My wife is right beside me and Im already in bed to easily fall asleep when done. I love this thing!!!!

This is at the moment of writing. The beat hand held console someone can buy. It take awhile to do updates and optimize everything. But once you do that you can do almost anything.
