I am a starwars fan and thought this was a great addition to the family starwars would recommend

I have followed the STAR WARS phenomenon since reading the 1976 paperback that preceded the release of A NEW HOPE and I have seen every film during its theatrical run. Because I am a true original fan it is impossible to be objective about the non-Lucas screenplays but it seems to me that ROGUE ONE fits very well into the original narrative without falling into (IMHO) an overly nostalgic "homage" like THE FORCE AWAKENS. The 100% digital recreations of Carrie Fisher and Peter Cushing are particularly impressive. My only real gripe is with the constant, mind numbing action sequences (akin to MAD MAX FURY ROAD) that seem to me to be more fatiguing than exciting but this may be due to the very active surround channels and massive amount of LFE produced by my home theater. That said; the DTS-HD 7.1 sound is crisp and clear with very legible dialog. The PRISTINE widescreen image is rendered in approximately 2.40:1 aspect ratio. There are many dark scenes (maybe too many?) so displays with inferior and/or improperly calibrated black levels may appear a bit murky at times.

A grittier Star Wars story. You don’t always have to have a Skywalker to have a good story.

Perhaps the best Star Wars movie? It is for some. I agree it’s awesome. My only gripe about buying this was that it was damaged. I buy a lot of movies and every so often Best Buy sends me one damaged. Not too concerned as I returned it and bout it in store. Otherwise this would be 5 stars. Enjoy the movie!

They did a great job with the prequel to episode 4. Last scene with Vader is my favorite part.

Star Wars: Rogue One is a spin-off of the main Star Wars movies, featuring a new cast of characters on a desperate mission to steal the blueprint plans for the Death Star. This movie takes place just before Star Wars: A New Hope and the Rebellion has just learned that the Empire is planning on building a massive weapon to be used in their war with each other (the Death Star). They send a top pilot to investigate and find out that the weapon is already being built and is almost completed. The Rebellion gathers a team of renegades to sneak into a highly protected Empire base and steal the blueprints for the Death Star, hoping they can find a weakness. This movie has all of the same elements as other Star Wars movies, action, suspense, romance, comedy, interesting characters, X-wing fighters, space battles, etc... There are a few character cameos from other Star Wars movies, but this is a whole new cast of characters. This movie is really a heist movie, it is almost like a Ant-Man movie set in the Star Wars universe!

The Vader scene was the best scene. I watched New Hope right after and it worked great. The 4K version looks amazing on my new OLED. All the bonus features are on the Blu-ray. The Blu-ray looks great on my 4K OLED. The HDR is HDR10.

The movie is full of suspense and enjoyment. Most definitely recommend this for everyone.

Good movie. Virtually identical the big screen but, smaller. Played well in my DVD player.

The 4k-UHD Blu is stunning visually and the sound is fantastic even for a Sound Bar. This movie is the prefect companion movie to the Star Wars Original Trilogy and is a must buy for a true Star Wars Fan. You will not be disappointed.

To take a line from the opening scrawl of A New Hope and turn it into an incredible adventure is a massive achievement. We know the ending, but that doesn’t make it any less enthralling. Rogue One is one of the best Star Wars films.

Rogue One is a cool movie, and this SteelBook is beautiful. May the Force be with you.

I love this movie! It was one of the best Star Wars movies ever made in my opinion!

This is an underrated classic that is great for any Star Wars fan. Great story & great acting & ties into all Skywalker Saga so well. Best part the introduction of new characters that were pivotal to the Star Wars universe. Overall Great movie.

The film itself is very good, a well made prequel to A New Home, aka Star Wars. With great special features and A/V quality, as well as excellent steelbook packaging, I have no trouble recommending this title.

This movie is great . Every one who likes to watch a movie about good versus evil.
