An absolutely fantastic movie. A little confusing in the beginning, but what a ride!!!

I am a huge Star Wars fan. The original trilogy is the benchmark for modern sci-fi films. The prequel films were not quite on par with the original trilogy, however, not as bad as some believe. Episode VII was a fantastic addition in the continuing saga. Having said all of that, Rogue One is the start of spin off Star Wars films. Although the majority of the characters are new, the story begins just prior to the events of episode IV. This story deals with a band of rebels attempting to steal the plans to the Death Star. This spin off film is one of my favorite films in the Star Wars saga. Although it definitely is a Star Wars movie, it is also more of a military movie as well. The new characters, the action, the special effects, were all spectacular. As far as the blu-ray is concerned, this is one of Disney's finest. Like most modern films, the picture is almost perfect and the sound is as well. There are some pretty decent special features as well. I would highly recommend this movie as an addition to anyone's collection.

Grandchildren are collectors of action movies so the purchase can be a family gift.

Rogue One is the best spinoff movie from the Skywalker saga. It's so well executed and acted. The story is great and fits in so well with the original Star Wars. This is a must own movie for any Star Wars fan. Truly great sci-fi filmmaking.
