Quick movie review: okay with tons of fan service and a great finale, but forgettable characters. The 4K itself looks and sounds great. The battle scenes allow for great sound immersion, but due to the color tone of the movie ( being a typical war movie), colors don’t always pop. But detail is awesome and the universe continues to feel loved in.

This is a good origin movie for the Star Wars series. Worth watching.

loved all the star wars movies and i loved how they tied this one into 4

We still don't have a BluRay player, and I have been buying movie sets since that became a thing so that we will have the BluRay discs when I finally get a player. After watching the DVD, I am glad I did because you can see the compression artifacts in the footage and it is definitely not as clear as it was in the theatre. They compressed the heck out of this movie to squeeze it onto a DVD. Obviously then, the bonus footage and features were not included on the DVD, only the BluRay. Ironically, though, the slight graininess that gets added into the DVD compression actually makes it less obvious that the 2 CGI characters are actually CGI, so it's not all bad. Just be aware that if you are buying this for the DVD, you will realize how much you are going to want a BluRay player in the near future. As to the movie itself, it is amazing, and possibly my favorite Star Wars movie since Empire Strikes Back.

Easily the best Star Wars to come out of the Disney machine, but that really isn’t saying much, considering The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker were dumpster fires. Glad to finally get this on 4k though!

I purchased the franchise in 4k resolution. Half of them look amazing, while the others do not offer an image much greater than 1080p. However, I will say that Rogue One looks amazing in 4K. Very crisp picture.

Another addition for the classics. Your either a fan or your not.

This was a Birthday gift for my son. One of his favorite movies.

great stand alone star wars movie that fits into the original trilogy

The graphics that 4k allows to happen is phenomenal. This is a great side story to an earlier movie in this franchise. Sure could have used this earlier, but I guess better late than never.

Watch this in 3D. You won't be disappointed. Fantastic special effects

I thought this was the best of the Star Wars movies. The picture and sound were great in 4k Ultra HD. Own this on bluray/dvd as well but wanted to see the 4k Ultra version. Highly recommended, A+++++
