Best of all the Star Wars movies! Fits perfectly well in between Revenge of The Sith and A New Hope.

Rogue One is one of the best in the Star Wars' series of movies - in my opinion. Although most of the Star Wars' films are entertaining, Rogue One along with 2 others are beginning to end awesome. This film has everything and it is well written and directed. There is some good character development which in return gets people more involved with feeling in this movie. I paid more than twice to see this at the theater and I definitely knew I was going to buy the disc once it was available - in which I did. Buy this, see this and enjoy this movie - it's well worth the money.

The blu-ray quality was great. Disk was well packed. Not my favorite of the stars wars franchise.

I like the movie it's way better than force awaiting, it brings you to the point where it all started when the rebels capture the small ship looking for the droids with the plains to destroy the death star. For all you star wars fans here is one I had in mind for Disney and George Lucas both working in this project. It's how star wars begain when both good and bad was one on a planet before the dark side came about now that would be awesome maybe another 3 chapters showing how it all started and no Han solo bubba fet solo movie I'm not interested and so are many others.

I'm going to review the product and not the film itself. This is a classic steel book case, its high quality and shows the dark troopers on Scarif. I would've much preferred if it was similar to the slip cover where it has the Rogue One team on the cover, but I like how this is original. Its a nice steel book and it comes with several special features and bonus content so its a great buy. The movie itself is up to viewer whether or not they like it. I personally did and found it to be a great back story for an amazing trilogy. I can say, I'm happy I preordered it.

This is simply one of the best Star Wars films since the Empire Strikes Back. The cast is amazing, diverse and are manage to bring credibility back to a Star Wars film. It introduces compelling new characters and respectfully fits in the larger canon. Fans of the original trilogy will absolutely love this film because it feels like Star Wars, so much more than the prequels. It's also the first Star Wars movie so far to not be centered around the Jedi, but as I mentioned before, it still feels like a story in the Star Wars universe. K2SO is my favorite new droid!

The last minutes of this film is worth the cost alone, but overall it is pretty good film. In the Star Wars saga, this is the first stand alone film that does a pretty good thing of telling a story we have heard before of how those dirty rebels stole the death star plans. Really my only gripe is the steelbook, Star Wars just released recently their line of steelbooks and kept them in a general theme and this one totally goes against what they have done. Given that it is a star wars film and not one of the episodes, I can forgive them because it still looks pretty good.

Not great but a good star wars movie, found it more interesting than the recent 7 and 8 star wars

The intermediary story referenced in the 1977 Classic Star Wars from the Yavin IV rebel base that many Rebels died to bring us this information is told through Rogue One and a wonderful ensemble cast. If you are lover of STAR WARS or of Sci-Fi, this movie bridges Epsiode III to Episode IV seamlessly and the effects are stunning. Follow the story of Jyn Ursa, her ties to the Empire and the Rebels and how she leads this cast of "misfits" to obtain the Death Star plans and get them into the hands of the Rebels. This is a wonderful bridge story and I highly recommend it.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is an awesome addition to the Star Wars canon! Set before the original Star Wars Episode IV, Rogue One serves as a thrilling prelude to the classic trilogy, as we see the unique backstories of the Death Star and the conflict between the Empire and Rebellion! The characters are well written, the action sequences are stunning, and we get Darth Vader! Rogue One is a must for Star Wars fans old and new alike! Highly recommended!

this is by far my favorite star wars movie in the whole saga, absolutely gorgeous in 4k hdr.

SWR1 delivers on the story about how the Death Star plans end up getting to the Rebellion (at the beginning of New Hope). Being that it is dealing with material that is so closely tied to the original franchise, it does a fine job of being it's own story while also weaving itself into the fabric of classic SW. I would recommend this to any SW fan. Those who are not familiar with SWep4 may be surprised with some of the plot decisions - but veteran fans should be able to agree that this is perhaps the 2nd best film in the entire franchise (after EmpireStrikesBack).

I bought the movie Rogue One - A Star Wars Story on blu ray on its release date and viewed it one day later. It was very good, and I can recommend it without any reservations. It is a good prequel to the very first Star Wars movie, the first time that we saw the characters Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo. In fact, it "dovetails" meaning it fits in with that movie, providing the "backstory" to what had happened just prior to plans of The Death Star being stolen by The Rebels. The movie is definitely worth purchasing especially if you are a Star Wars movie fan.

Didn't see this in theater, but I have always wanted a Blu-ray copy of it because I have a 75 inch 4K HDR television at home. I might have been happier with a 4K version of it (but there isn't one yet) – so this will do and I am not disappointed at all. I enjoyed the storyline, the characters, and the acting. This is far beyond episode one, two, and three. Don't want to give away the ending of the movie, if you have not seen it, you will surely like it.

I admit that I went into the movie with low expectations. Yes it is a Lucasfilm and Disney movie. They rarely release horrible movies. But this was a spinoff and already I was concerned with Star Wars over-saturation. But it has quickly become one of my favorites. Alan Tudyk shines as always for comedy relief. Donnie Yen effectively opens the door for non-jedi force sensitives. However, the biggest surprise was well it lined up with A New Hope. While I was the biggest fan of the CG reverse aging, it is tolerable and does not limit a person's enjoyment of the film.

I'm a total Star wars fanatics and out of all the new movies this one is my favorite ONE!

With surprisingly little hesitation I can say (as a HUGE Star Wars fan) that this technically is probably the best Star Wars movie of them all but really Disney needs to put better effort into their special features. I am here to review a blu ray and really it seems blu rays are purchased by the puritans and puritans ought to be spoiled properly. Remember how seriously studios treated their DVD supplements in the late nineties/ early 2000's? It was an abundance of riches. So long as they produce blu rays they really should invest more care into the supplements.

If you are a Star Wars fan and have a 3D set up, this is a must have for your collection. It almost seems to place you in the middle of the scene. I would like to recommend that the 'New Owner of the Star Wars Saga" take a long and hard look at taking the Master for all of the Star Wars movies and not only digitize, but convert all of the movies into 4K-3D!! Can you imagine what the 1st 3 movies would look like in Real 3D and 4K! It would be Money in the Bank for all of the older films, the new , and future films! Go for it! 5*****. a die hard fan of this saga
