I admit that I went into the movie with low expectations. Yes it is a Lucasfilm and Disney movie. They rarely release horrible movies. But this was a spinoff and already I was concerned with Star Wars over-saturation. But it has quickly become one of my favorites. Alan Tudyk shines as always for comedy relief. Donnie Yen effectively opens the door for non-jedi force sensitives. However, the biggest surprise was well it lined up with A New Hope. While I was the biggest fan of the CG reverse aging, it is tolerable and does not limit a person's enjoyment of the film.

Never looked better! Upgraded my Blu-ray copy and I love the picture and the Dolby Atmos is fantastic!

Missed it in theathers not bad but the force it's not strong with this one cool steelbook

This is one of the better star wars 4k transfers. This one was not part of the box set, so It was a must have.

With surprisingly little hesitation I can say (as a HUGE Star Wars fan) that this technically is probably the best Star Wars movie of them all but really Disney needs to put better effort into their special features. I am here to review a blu ray and really it seems blu rays are purchased by the puritans and puritans ought to be spoiled properly. Remember how seriously studios treated their DVD supplements in the late nineties/ early 2000's? It was an abundance of riches. So long as they produce blu rays they really should invest more care into the supplements.

Had to add this title to the rest of my Star Wars 4K collection. Might be the best Disney released Star Wars film.

Best star wars movie since the original trilogy movies. Excellent sound & picture.

If you are a Star Wars fan and have a 3D set up, this is a must have for your collection. It almost seems to place you in the middle of the scene. I would like to recommend that the 'New Owner of the Star Wars Saga" take a long and hard look at taking the Master for all of the Star Wars movies and not only digitize, but convert all of the movies into 4K-3D!! Can you imagine what the 1st 3 movies would look like in Real 3D and 4K! It would be Money in the Bank for all of the older films, the new , and future films! Go for it! 5*****. a die hard fan of this saga

Superfan: Check Looked at all Exclusive Versions: Check Has all Physical as well as Digital Versions: Check Looked at Cost versus Need : Check Bought this version and wouldn't have it any other way! Who needs a small featurette that I probably would only watch once from the other exclusive version at another store. Also why would I want to change the cover of the case when I got the best picture of death troopers, stormtroopers standing in water with the Deathstar looming behind them. My Steelbook case looks awesome on the shelf and the price was great!

First off I have to tip my hat to Best Buy since they are the ONLY ones to have this in 3-D! The offering itself (steelbox) was amazing, including the 3-D version as well as the regular Bluray, regular DVD, and finally a Bluray bonus disc. No one at that early date had anything close! As for the movie itself, I was born in 68 so I saw the original Star Wars in the theater as well as all the others over the years and next to the original, this is by far one of my favorites. The movie is action packed and leads right into Episode 1. You will not be disappointed!

Looks and sounds absolutely phenomenal. A definite movie to add to the collection of Star Wars films.

A Star Wars Story: Rogue One looks amazing in 4K, along with an amazing story! Must have for any Star Wars fan.

This is a good side story. There is mention of Rogue Two in The Empire Strikes Back.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story takes place prior to Episode IV and follows Jyn Erso as she is recruited to partake in the Rebels' effort to combat the Empire's newly developed cataclysmic weapons platform. The special effects are extremely well done and story draws you in effectively. The characters are multifaceted and are portrayed by a stellar cast. I was fortunate to see this movie in the theater in 3D and it was fantastic. Being able to see it again is a blessing as IMHO I believe this to be the prequel that should have been made in 1999 and early 2000s.

Best so far of the “Star Wars” spinoffs, well done, great 4k

I remember seeing A New Hope in the theater more than 11 times at the theater as a child. I also remember buying my first DVD player & movie (giving away all of my VHS tapes shortly after). And now, watching this movie on Blu Ray brings it all together. Excellent story on the best current format (BR). Watching the end reminded me of the first time seeing Star Wars (even knowing how the movie will/would end!). I've watched this at least a half-dozen times at home now. A GREAT installment in the SW Universe; the best so far, in my opinion.
