This was a great side story of the star wars franchise before it went south.

Movie is a good watch but a little dry and can get boring at times

This is one of the best 4K uhds out there it looks spectacular.

An outstanding film, easily a favorite of the series, fitting perfectly into the space between the prequels and "A New Hope". Beautifully dark and gritty with some great new characters. If I had one complaint, it would be the feeling of a few cameos being forced into the story that were not needed (pig nose aka Cornelius Evazan, for example). But truly a great film, exciting from beginning to end. The scenes of the Death Star's destructive power and Darth Vader alone are well worth the price of admission.

Hands down the best Star Wars movie since the original trilogy. Looks awesome in 4K.

I've heard a lot of mixed and bad reviews about this film. All I can say is: I have NO idea what film the people reviewing it watched or what they expected. I ADORED this film. The new characters are all varied, well written, interesting, and engaging. The plot is simple to follow while also having a few nice layers of drama and intrigue. Seeing Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin, and a few other "old friend"-type characters was awesome! The ONLY mild complaints I have are: the CG for Tarkin and another character was a little too obvious in some spots and the score can't hold a candle to the work done by John Williams. Not that I necessarily blame Giacchino: those are big shoes to fill. But, it's still obvious and hurts the film sometimes. That said, I thought the film was exciting, breathtaking, fun, and really, in some ways, very tragic. If all the "standalone" STAR WARS Stories are THIS good? Man, I'm on board!!

I grew up a Star Wars kid and was extremely skeptical with this being the first in a series of stand alones. I didn't see it in the theater but thanks to a great Best Buy 3D steelbook, I decided to give it a blind buy. Wow is all I can say. I saw Garth Edwards movie, Monsters and was impressed but this was above and beyond. This was a real story and actually had stormtroopers who could shoot straight. I'll let you watch it and form your own opinion but for me, near the top of the Star Wars movie list.

This one kind of grew on me. I'm not a fan of any of the new Star Wars films, but this one seems the best of the bunch. It is the only one that I can stomach. Beautiful 4K transfer.

The steelbook edition was produced in limited quantity and offered exclusively through Best Buy. It features different packaging artwork with the added protection of a metallic case. Sure to look great in any Star Wars collector's library. It includes 3D, blu ray, DVD and digital copy of the movie. The digital copy can be redeemed with Disney Movies Anywhere (which includes an iTunes version if your accounts are connected), an iTunes copy, or a UV copy from Vudu, Flixster, or another digital vendor.

This movie is better than Episode 7. It's the only Star Wars movie since the original trilogy that actually feels like a true Star Wars movie... at least to me. I was very disappointed with Episode 7. It had great potential and I'm sure Star Wars fans that love everything Star Wars that don't like to question or critique the movies won't agree with me. The movie formula these days needs to change. So many reboots and so many disappointments. The art of making a good movie I feel has been lost.

The best star wars movie fight me except for The Last Jedi FIGHT ME

One of the two only Disney Star Wars movies worth getting the second being SOLO.

A SW short story really, and direct lead-in pre-episode to the original Episode IV. While some reviews gripe about the length, the characters' arcs, etc, let me say this: if you have read every SW piece of literature printed, written, streamed, or photographed, you likely won't like. For the rest that have a real life and not enough time or interest to hunt down every SW morsel, this is a nice story that literally explains most (but not all) of what happens after Ep.III and leads into Ep.IV.

Rogue One is a well-developed story that lands you in between Episode III and IV. Without spoiling the movie, you get to see great new heroes like Jyn Erso and villains like Director Krennic. You can learn more about the actors who portrayed these characters by viewing the bonus disc, which includes in-depth interviews and behind the scenes footage. The cinematography is stunning and the end leads you right into Episode IV, A New Hope. Highly recommended for any Star Wars fan and movie buffs alike.

This movie, being an anthology of the Star Wars universe, is a great addition to the Star Wars family of films/stories. It nicely ties together the CGI Clone Wars episodes, the original Star Wars (Episode IV), and the Revenge of the Sith. I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but it definitely can stand on its own. The only draw back is one CGI'ed character at the end, which didn't look so good compared to the other major CGI live action character. Anyway, I would recommend this movie. :)

Very good looking and sounding in 4k. This is my favorite Disney Star Wars movie.
