Ok, I really liked the originals, episodes 4-6, just didn't like the ewoks, way to cutesy for me. Episodes 1-3, never watched one all the way through, Jar Jar was too annoying, didn't like young Anikan and grown up Anikan was really annoying to me. The Force Awakens was good, give that a 4 star but seems like a remake of Episode 4, quite a few parallels could be seen. This movie I loved, self contained, great action, true heros......I'll watch this one a few times.

As a Star Wars fan I enjoyed this movie a lot. But it does have kind of a "Fan Film" feeling to it. The main Star Wars films as we know them are basically stories about the Skywalker family. This one has almost nothing to do with them. Still, it's fun to watch adventures in the Star Wars Universe. Plus it has one of the best endings ever! As for the disc itself, it's basically your standard behind the scenes stuff. I was a little disappointed in the "Epilogue" feature. I thought it might be an actual Epilogue to the story. However, it was just more behind the scenes stuff about the cast and crew after filming. Although I will say that it's a nice bonus to have the extras available digitally when you redeem the code. Many of these I probably won't sit in my living room and watch. But I would watch these while I was stuck in a waiting room somewhere.

Quality 4K and crisp audio. This is easily one of the best of the Star Wars saga

As the title says, we all know how it ends (spoiler alert: the sequel to this movie is Episode IV). But still, I was glued to the screen from start to finish. The plot is okay, not in a "anime filler episode" but in a "lost chapters" sense, you didn't know you needed to see this part of the story until it was presented to you. And it answers a few questions you might have about the Death Star too! And I must admit, the ending scene gave me the feels.

One of the better new star wars movie. Looks good on a 4k TV.

This was a different type of flick for me. But I must say there was a lot of tense moments and I was definitely drawn into the time period. If I had kept up with Star Wars series I'd been a bit more informed. However, over all this was a well put together movie. I commend the different characters that made the movie blend nicely. In the end I finally was able to understand what and how everything tied itself together. I would say a family move, with some caution.

Right up there with the best Star Wars pictures of all time.

As is always the case, Best Buy keeps stock of the most popular movies and has the exclusive Steel Box presentation of certain movies, reasons we keep coming back to BB. I have been getting the Steel Box versions BB offers and due to unforeseen circumstances I unfortunately missed the one for this Star Wars movie when it came out in April. I've seen it offered online but I will stick to Best Buy, safety first. I'll keep my eyes open for the next one.

This is a fantastic side story on how the rebellion attained blueprints on the Deathstar. It's definitely a welcome change in tone to the previous Star Wars movies. It's much more serious and grim, which isn't to say that the previous films were bad for being lighthearted, I enjoy seeing new angles and stories that fill in the gaps from the Trilogy. Hope they continue to explore other side stories in the future. The action is great and plays out like a War film.

Good spinoff, definitely worth watching. K2 was the best.

Best SW film since Empire. Bonus content is pretty good.

This movie is a GREAT addition to the Star Wars universe. I love the way it involves new characters, and still fits in perfectly with the first movie (Episode IV - A New Hope). When Rogue One ends, you want to immediately watch A New Hope back-to-back. Great characters, engaging story, execellent visual effects. Fun to watch multiple times. One of my favorite quotes: "I find that answer vague and unconvincing." Hopefully my review is better than that.

This movie rules and the disc looks great- way better than the Disney+ stream!

Considering this is a whole new set of characters and story in an already popular universe, it could have been a bust, but this is most definitely not. You know where this story is going, but now how we got there. Wonderful adventure that is exciting and funny and definitely earns its place in the canon, right up there with my favorite "The Empire Strikes Back" a great movie and a ride worth taking....esp the way it weaves "A New Hope" in and out. Great stuff!!

I first saw this in the theaters when it came out. This is a terrific Star Wars tale, very original. It tells how the plans for the Death Star were stolen by the rebels and given to Princess Leia. The action is great. There is humor and great dialog. If you are a Star Wars fan, get this movie. You will not be disappointed. Of course, if you are a Star Wars fan, you probably saw this in the theater. Get it for your library. It's a good one to go back and watch!

Well, this is a great movie. The trick is to get it to look good on blu ray - and they definitely accomplished that. If you have seen this movie at the theaters you know that a large picture will not look as sharp. The blu ray is sharp and clear on your typical TVs and I can attest to that with this movie. I wish they had a 4k version, but if you have a TV that is capable of simulating HDR with non-HDR sources, it looks incredible. No regrets on this purchase.

Not a classic but a fun movie never the less. Recommended.
