This BluRay came with a digital copy. Great story line and a nice continuation to Episode IV. One of the better movies compared to the other prequels...Episodes 1-3. I upload my digital movies on UltraViolet but because it's a Disney movie, other members on my account are not able to view it. This goes for all other Disney movies I own a digital copy of such as the new Jungle Book and Captain America Civil War.

I wanted a 4K with Roku and didn't want to break the bank doing it. I read alot of reviews and decided to try TCL. So far it's been a great purchase. I love the easy set up to switch between your satellite, antenna, blue ray or go straight to streaming. Now the down side. This is why I gave 4 stars. The remote is limited if you are using the remote to change channels you have to stroll through each one, there's no numbers, in addition the sound has limited built in settings and at only 8watts each speaker you have to turn up the volume alot. I have it hooked up to an old stereo with surround sound so it's fine for movies and sports, otherwise consider a soundbar, even an inexpensive one will make a big difference.

This movie has a lot of good special effects in it. One of the best newer Star Wars in my opinion really liked it myself cant outguess it as well.

A terrific movie that leads you into A New Hope, with some decent extras but sadly no directors commentary. It seems Lucasfilm is afraid to discuss or let the director discuss a reshoot of the film's climax, despite it being widely known, and pretty successful in the end. Otherwise the film looks excellent and sounds excellent and this disk package offers a 3D version with great depth (on an LG passive 3D TV).

This steelbook package is terrific.it contains the feature film, digital copy, bonus disc, 3D disc, and Blu Ray. And what a movie it is: fast paced and filled with great characters and a plot that zips along to set up the pivotal events of Star Wars Episode IV. The Best Buy price for this worthy addition to the Star Wars movie canon was most reasonable, and I can play it in a variety of formats. Great value.

I may get in a lot of trouble for saying this but this one of the greatest SW movies ever. I would rank it #2 out of the 8 total out. Definitely darker tone but only one scene at the end that I felt was too much for my younger children. My 12 year old son said it best, this is exactly like the video games, and how I imagine it when we are pretending outside. Looking forward to more of these Star Wars Stories!

George Lucas in this prequel continues to expand on his Star Wars movies franchise. In Rogue One, he provides a good story and action to lead into his saga of the first Star Wars movie, A New Hope, in 1977. This movie explains the "sacrifices made by so many,' to obtain the plans for the infamous Death Star. Again he focuses on the indomitable individual spirit to keep fighting on against insurmountable odds.

This movie amazingly bridges the gap between the prequels and Star Wars: A New Hope. The movie flies by with interesting characters who work together to ensure the success of the rebel movement. The characters passionate. The call to resistance against the empire is inspirational. The last few moments work so well into the beginning of A New Hope it almost compels you to begin a Star Wars marathon.

It’s a need to complete the collection in all its glory

I was happy to make this the last piece of my 4k star wars collection and despite the movie being just ok I love the atmos sound and the picture is amazing bumped up to 4k

Rogue One is by Star Wars standards one of the darker films in the series (perhaps along the lines of the Emprie Strikes Back...?). A good story well told. The acting and writing is solid. Furthermore the movie is filmed very well. Despite the serious nature of much of the movie it still has its lighter moments and many likeable characters. This is perhaps my favorite Star Wars film.... highly recommended

Movie is A-Ok! Its an attempt to make a Star Wars movie that is slightly different. It works as that, for the most part. Extras are disappointing, due to a complete lack of any of the cut or excised footage, which was all over the trailers. Best Buy exclusive steel book is wonderful. You get your black armored Stormtroopers on the front and your vanilla ones on the back. Both sides really stand out.

I was a little Leary about the movie at first but after watching it, I absolutely love it! The whole Vader scene and then the tie in to a new hope at the end of the movies was amazing! Even the cgi of leia and Tarkin were surprisingly outstanding! This movie is definitely a must buy for any Star Wars fan.

Star Wars is at it again and this time the epic story line has hit another galactic conquest! Take a ride and get to know the epic back story of how the Rebel Alliance got their hands on the plans to the dreaded Death Star and begin their heroic campaign on defeating the Empire. You will love the new characters and the story that will keep you wanting more. Enjoy the latest chapter in the Star Wars saga!

I loved this movie in the theatre, and the blu-ray/digital presentation does nothing to lessen that love. Rogue One is the prequel we all deserved, the type of prequel we hoped to get way back in 1999 when the Phantom Menace released. The characters, writing, performances, visuals, and humor all align perfectly with a New Hope. That said, the video release loses points for sub-par extras. Maybe I was spoiled by the extras on the 2004 DVD release of the Original Trilogy. Those features were meaty and interesting, digging into the making of the films and the saga. The more recent releases, including Rogue One feature added content that doesn't do much if anything to add to our understanding of the characters, story, or filmmaking processes.

You do not have to be a die hard SW fan to love this movie. It is a self contained story of how the Rebels, to quote the Opening Crawl from Star Wars in 1977, "...won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire." You do not have to know anything about the SW universe to watch this movie and be entertained. It is a simple premise but a deep and layered story that sets up the events we know so well.

I found this film to be fantastic. I went in knowing with the Disney purchase of Star Wars to not expect Star Wars to be the the same as it was under Lucas Film. I was pleasantly surprised and found a really thought provoking film that answered a key question in the Star Wars universe. That question being how did the rebels get the Death Star plans. I would recommend this to all Star Wars fans.

You are either going to like it or not like it, based on your opinions of the series to date....for fans, it is not breaking any new ground, just fills in a couple holes here and there that existed before Ep. IV (New Hope)....not a earth shattering addition to the canon of the series, but a worthy addition and in my opinion, and Star Wars is good Star Wars (yes, even Ep. 1-3)....bring on The Last Jedi....

This film takes place in between Revenge of the Sith and A new hope. The cast is great and plot as well. This steelbook edition is probably the better choice to get from all the editions available. Luckily I pre ordered my copy a month in advance. The line was just crazy and even though they just opened the store. Within the first twenty mins it sold out. Comes with a 3D copy bluray copy and standard DVD.

Rogue 1 fits seamlessly into the Star Wars universe. The storytelling is great, the acting is great, and the special effects are phenomenal. But if you are looking for a "happy" movie, this isn't it. Rogue 1 is a darker chapter in the Star Wars saga, showing a desperate Rebellion that is losing the fight and losing hope. But this serves to highlight the title and theme of Episode IV "A New Hope."
