I saw this move the first week it came out in theaters, and I loved it. I really like the new story that gave us a feel to what the rebels were up to right before the original movie. I enjoyed this a lot more then the Force Awakens because that movie felt to much like the original move with just new characters. Just way to predictable. Movies these days need to have more original stories like Rouge One!

It was worth the wait to get the BD and digital instead of getting just the digital a couple weeks early. As expected, you get the superior picture and sound quality of BD. You will also get a Disney code good for their own DMR system. I have mine linked to Vudu, but you can link it to iTunes or any other major streaming service. It was really nice to get a disk with all of the behind the scenes action.

Instead of trying to prove females are equal with males, Disney needs to put more content and cleverness in the dialogue like the original Star Wars movies. That said, this movie is more interesting and entertaining than Force Awakens.

I have enjoyed all the original episodes 4-6 and did. It really like episodes 1-3. Force awakens was good as it followed the same theme and style of episodes 4-6. Rogue one has it's own style and by far is my favorite story. You kinda know what is going to happen but it has a great story and good acting unlike episodes 1-4 where you know what will happen but the acting was bad and the CGI not so great

I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive when I heard about this movie, but being a big Star Wars fan I knew I would have to go see it. I will say that I think it's one of the best Star Wars movies that has come out. They did a great job with fitting this story between episode III and IV. If you have not seen it you will not be disappointed. I had to add it to the collection as soon as it came out.

I decided to remodel the kitchen. I wanted to go to Best Buy for the great deals. Also, It's a good time to use my rewards points. I can get the best combinations of stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. It can be delivered on the same day. The associate assisted in selecting several different options. I was pleased with my selections. Great price, Great service and Awesome selections!

The rebellion has the chance to get the plans for the death star and the daughter of the scientist who built it is the perfect choice to help get the plans and rescue if possible her father. Twists and turns with harrowing space flights and the rebellion will have the plans so Princess Leia can pass it on to the fighters who can destroy it.

I saw this in the theater, but this disc lives up to the theater experience and then some, especially with 3D. I still have a 3D tv, which I want to hold onto as long as I can. The 3D is done very well, but with the unnecessary in-your- face stuff. The sound is excellent. In fact the sound is so well done and dynamic, I had to use the night setting on my audyssey configuration. ...a good problem...

This movie is fantastic, the fact that they made an entire film based on the opening crawl to A New Hope fills in the gaps of story very well. All the characters are fun and interesting, and the look is spot on, you can tell everyone really cared. The packaging is nice for this Blu Ray and I appreciate (although I know this is kinda standard) that it comes with a DVD and digital copy. Must watch film.

The steelbook design is fantastic. If you collect them, I wouldn't hesitate to snag this one. The movie itself it excellent as well. I'm a big Star Wars fan, and I love how they blended this movie right into Episode 4. The only downside.... I wish the steelbook spine would match the other ones.... but no big deal. The spine text is different than both The Force Awakens and the Episode 1-6 steelbooks.

Spoiler alert! Perhaps the fact that all the lead characters must be killed by the end of the movie to maintain the Star Wars Universe continuity, gave the writers the freedom to draft a compelling story from start to finish. All the other more recent Star Wars movies are just setting up sequels are recycling the story line from the original movies. This is the one new Star Wars movie worth seeing!

Great as a standalone or as a prequel to A New Hope, Rogue One is the story of how a small band of rebels acquired the plans to the Empire's greatest and most devastating weapon to date. Introducing exciting new characters and new (old?) technology, the story moves along quickly and is over before you know it. I only wish there were more Star Wars stories to tell us if the rebels were successful.....

Love the Steelcase. I didn't need the 3D but for $5 more with the Steelcase, I had to have it. Packaging is great, registering for the digital copy was a snap. And Best Buy got it to my house one day earlier than they said they would have here which was great. The movie is great with lots of extras and sounds awesome with my 7.1 surround sound; Yamaha Aventage. Highly recommend for any StarWars Fan!

having just come back from the last Jedi, my kids and I were all jazzed up about the franchise, and popped this in. Must say, it holds up better than expected. Had seen it in the theater, but watching it at home in 4K it was really a great time. The picture is clear, the sound is fantastic and the story is go from beginning to end. All of us, think that this is the best of the bunch.

There is not much to say about this film EXCEPT AWESOME! FUN JUST A BIT DARK. It covers the entire spectrum this a PERFECT lead into a movie that was made in 77. being just a kid when the first one captured my childhood. though it isn't perfect( one should read the book catalyst which will give more information).I don't want to give anything away but this movie was the perfect movie for these times.

As a huge Star Wars fan, the movie was pretty good. There were numerous production issues that made this movie less than it could have been. For example, the composer, who had the impossible task of appeasing fans used to John Williams's scores, was given far too little time to get the music done. As such, the music is lackluster, which is a big problem for a Star Wars movie. In regards to the bluray itself, the transfer looks pretty good. However, it would be better if Disney/Lucasfilm had put this out on 4K as well. The disk has minimal extras. Many were disappointed they didn't include some of the original scenes that had to be reshot. Would have been a good way to leverage "alternate scenes" or "alternate endings".

This is the best STAR WARS film since EMPIRE and a must own for any Blu Ray collection. The movie itself is funny, exciting and emotionally effective, and the Steelbook (ONLY available at Best Buy) is worth every penny, because unlike the standard issue release, it comes with the 3D version as well, and that is worth the price of this entire package alone. Go pick it up now - you will not be sorry!

Fans will love how this looks on 4k and is a must have.

I was not sure if I was going to like it to be honest, but I was very happily surprised by the outcome. I thought the CG of the Governor and Princess were pretty well done. I could tell that they were CG but it was pretty cool none the less. The bonus disc was quite entertaining and very informative. I hope they make some more of these type movies. I can't get enough of Star Wars. So bring them on.

This is a fine addition to the star wars saga. The actors were chosen well and the acting, for unknowns (at least to me), was excellent. As usual the special effects were awesome! I especially liked that Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher were included. Their son, Ben, inspires more Star Wars movies which i look forward to. If you haven't seen it yet, PLEASE, see it now! You will not be disappointed.
