This is an excellent product and I recommend it to anyone. People wanting to use it either in Europe or other countries 220v, should be aware that they will need a converter (which is easy to get anyway). The frequency is no problem at all.

I replaced my older Roku2 with the new Roku4 as a goal to be able to stream 4K programming. I have yet to purchase a 4K TV to see how it performs but so far it seems more stable than my old Roku2 with seemed to periodically hang for no reason. I'm hoping the functionality will justify the price but will need some time to verify if this was a worthwhile upgrade.

We love Roku products, we are excited to be able to offer 4K streaming to our clients. Only downside is lack of stereo/digital out for integration into 2 channel systems.

Roku 4k device. Works flawlessly. I heard from friends about Roku. This was my first purchase of a Roku media device. Recently bought a 4k tv. Roku 3 is probably fine for non 4k but since I was putting it on a 4k tv I decided on the Roku 4. Very happy with purchase. Easy to use.

The Roku 4 is the best one yet. I bought it to upgrade a Roku 2, which been iffy on wifi. The 4 is far superior in that regard. It must have "better" electronics for dealing with balky wifi signals. We seldom have it go into reload mode and it always loads immediately on startup.

The Roku 4 froze the majority of the time I streamed 4k. Worked with customer support - seemed to fix it, but fix was only temporary since it started freezing again. Remote is nice, easy to use. Interface is only okay - the apps require a LOT of clicking (left to right), instead of being laid out in panels. Prefer my PS4 interface. Returned this unit for an Apple TV (even though it doesn't stream 4K).

We've been very pleased with the performance of this version of Roku. We've had none of the problems mentioned by others in reviews. Roku rocks! This is the best streaming device out there. Menus are fast and easy, connectivity is excellent, channels offered as good as it gets!

Love the Roku for watching TV. This is my second one. I dropped Cable TV last year because the pricing just keeps going up. With my Roku, I can watch most shows I am interested in. I use it for Netflix, Amazon Prime, PBS, etc. The Roku 4 cost less than one month of Cable TV.

I have had this product for a while and it is a great product.

I have had all the major streaming media devices and Roku is hands down the best out there. The Apple iPhone app makes it even better. It works just as good if not better than the remote that is supplied with the Roku 4

We are really enjoying this item. I was happy to find that the time warner cable app is now on the Roku player. I am thinking I may switch to time warner and avoid the set top box charge for an extra tv by using this instead. We shall see if all the channels are available.

I already loved the Roku brand, but this took my love to another level. The Roku 4's sleek design, blazing fast processor, and the built in cooling system make this one a winner for me. Don't hesitate on this purchase.

The Roku delivers unlimited options for streaming TV. The picture is great set up is simple, and we no longer watch "whatever is on". It's been a great investment.

Great product and very well priced. There are so many channels to choose from that are free, and many many more to purchase forever or just rent. No need to have Satellite or Dish anymore , with this thing. Now the only trouble I have , is deciding what to watch haha.

Serves as a channel selector when doing away with cable box (and allows selection of Internet-based channels). You still must have some access to many of the channels through a subscription or otherwise, but there are some you can access without cost. I access Amazon Prime videos (which I can also do through my laptop, but who wants to connect a laptop to your tv every time you want to watch something?). Nice to pull up YouTube (no charge), Pandora (can get premium for a fee), and a whole host of other Internet-based channels. No real good solution for local broadcast stations, however - you need some other arrangement - like an HD antenna (in which case, you cannot access those stations through the Roku). Well worth the investment, IMHO.

I bought this to upgrade my Roku 3 it was a great player if I didn't need the audio jack on the side. I hooked it up and the audio would cut in and out and not work correctly. Because I use the device in my bedroom and my kids room is right across the hall I have to use a headset. This is a nice fast streaming device worked great accept for the Headset issue, and I could actually tell a difference between the 3 and 4 in speed of the navigating in the menus and streaming. All in all I would recommend this to anyone who was looking for a new streaming device to join the cord cutters movement.

I haven't experienced the enhancement of the Roku 4, yet. I am not happy with the new layout of the remote. I'm so used to the old style that i dont need to look at it to operate it. With the new remote, I constantly hit the Amazon or Netflix button when I'm trying to fast forward, pause, or rewind but I'll get used to it soon enough.
