Go for this one because it loads fast,fast, fast. I don't have a 4K TV but the processor is amazing and the HD is SUPER.Easy to set up and you can get your Flixster library and a myriad of options, amazon and more.

Very user friendly. The remote locate function is excellent and a must. My toddler is bad about hiding remotes so this helps solve this issue. This is probably the fastest product of this kind that I've used.

Love the voice search. Makes Netflix that much.better

The headphone jack in the remote is the best TV listening idea I have ever used. The apps load quicker than my smart TV. All-n-all the product is awesome. The OK button should be in the middle of the cursor cross though. It didn't take to long to get used to.

I got this because I wanted to be able to access the Met Opera channel, but have used it to easily watch other channels that I already had (Amazon, Netflix, HBO, etc.) through one unified interface. Searching for a particular show across channels is nice.

I returned my apple tv to Fry's for this, and let me tell you. Best Buy doesn't disappoint. I got excellent customer service, and Kyle at Plano store was amazing! He was able to show me all the channel you can get on it, and 4K upscalling ability. I have a 4K, and Fios, and 4K streaming works perfectly without any glitich.

Roku 4 is an excellent companion to my TV!!! I cut the chord with AT&T's UVerse and thanks to this Roku, I DON'T REGRET MY DECISION!!! I have LOTS of channels and shows to choose from! Excellent purchase!!!

Tried Amazon Fire which was okay but the Roku has a built in media player for personal video up to 4K and Fire does not. Some of the interfaces could do with an upgrade, and you can't turn on the Roku with a Harmony remote. But those are minor quibbles.

It took 30 minutes to get the unit to recognize the remote, I was just about to take it back when suddenly it started working. I am a computer tech so I'm not sure if the average user will have any luck. I had to reset my home router, my tv and the Roku box. Then I had to wait another 30 minutes for the system to update and I have 75 mb fiber internet speeds. The box works great, I had the old Roku, I'm looking forward to getting access to Formula One the only sports that I watch. The head phones in the remote work great too. The only issue is the long setup so far.

I was not expecting it to be as big as it is, but if you know how to use any of the Rokus, you will like it, I do have to say it's not much difference from this one and the Roku 3, just the 4K capability

I personally use this for plex and Netflix, the interface is fast, snappy, neat looking. I wish roku can change its boot up sound/animation however I rarely see that. This will be updated more Than tv's built in apps and will be a better experience.

Purchased as a replacement to my much older Apple TV unit. This unit runs circles around the older Apple product. Great picture clarity, streaming, setup, and intuitive interface. Highly recommend.

Im okay with this Roku. Not excited as I was before purchasing. The app I wanted to see in it is not found, though that is available in Roku outside US and Canada. If I knew it before, I would not have purchased it. I would have preferred Apple TV.

I bought the roku 4 because the apps on my smart tv are severely limited and I heard the roku was a good brand so I thought I should just go for the newest model. The $130 I paid I think is overpriced in all honesty. You can get basically the same apps on any other roku for a much cheaper price but if you must have a 4K streaming device for your 4K tv right now I guess you might as well go with this but it might be best to wait for a deal to pop up or for a price drop. No hdmi is included with the roku, I don't even think it says it on the box, it just tells you what is included and hdmi is not on the list so make sure to buy one if you don't wish to drive back to the store to get one.

My daughter called upset that she couldn't get HBO to work with the Roku. Turned out the Roku pre-loaded App was for HBO Now, instead of for HBO Go. After deleting the wrong App and installing the correct one, everything seems to be working well.

I pre-ordered he Roku 4 and chose this player as it seemed to fit our needs more than the (new)Amazon Fire Tv and (new)Apple Tv for one reason or another due to their restricted channels or way it's developed to mostly support their own product services. Anyway, at set up I instantly noticed the fast load times and excellent picture quality. The wifi is @ 5ghz and don't seem to have any issues. Below are my listed pros and cons....... The Good: Solid build Excellent picture quality Fast load times Excellent voice search functionality/recognition Large amount of channels/apps Quality RF Remote Great interface 4K capability Roku supported updates Fun factor The Bad: No power off function (does go to sleep after 30mins) Credit card request at set up Small amount of internal memory (but has memory card slot for extra) The voice search is great but should be expanded upon Overall the system isn't perfect and lacks ability to completely power off, but will power down (sleep mode) in 30mins of non-use. The voice search is great and recognizes easily but the search materials could be expanded upon. Otherwise, it offers the best overall performance compared to its competitors in my opinion. I definitely recommend this streaming media player to anyone who is on the fence.

I bought this to replace my Roku 2. The Roku 2 was never that good a device for me and was acting up yet again. It became apparent that after 3 years Roku wasn't going to replace the Roku 2 no matter how much I whined and complained, so I gave up on them started looking at alternatives. I looked at similar devices from Apple and Amazon but ended up back with Roku. The reviews were good and I had the idea that I would be able to unplug the old one and just plug the new one in. It wasn't quite that easy. The user interface was different and I still had to register the device with Roku, Hulu, Netfix, Amazon, etc. It wasn't difficult but I probably would have bought the Amazon device if I had known I would have to set everything up again anyway. The Roku 4 compared to the old Roku 2 is like comparing a Yugo with a blown head gasket to a brand new Lamborghini. Using the menu on the Roku 2 was like swimming through mud. Using the same function the Roku 4 just flies. It loads content quickly, the user interface is fast and responsive. It has never frozen up or rebooted mid movie in the 6 weeks that its been powered up. Even though I'll never forgive Roku for putting me through the misery of the 2, the Roku 4 has none of the old devices shortcomings.

I wanted to cut my cable and was looking for alternative ways to do this. Roku is easy to set up and easy to use. It is exactly what I was looking for. Now I watch what I want to when I want to.
