I'm very happy with this streaming box, it connected to wifi in an instant voice controls work really well. Setup with Prime adn Netflix was really easy. However the headphones did not work.

i have the roku 3 which works great but added another tv so i purchased the roku 4 works even better it seems faster and i love the voice search

After recently upgrading to a 4K projector I wanted a way to stream Netflix in 4K, since I was using a Roku 3 before this was a simple choice for an upgrade, menu is intuitive and the processor seems pretty good. The 4K content looks great.

Made the jump to streaming from cable and it's been great. Love the roku 3 better than cable. Easy to track a movie or show and it notifies you when it's available via apps like netflix, amazon, hbo, etc. I have a roku 3 and 4 and the 3 seems faster and doesn't lag like the 4...not sure why but it is. You'll probably want to make sure you have fast Internet speeds, we had 6mbps and had lag and freezing issues...now have twc with 300mbps and its great

As with all of the previous generations of the Roku, this one is great! Roku has the best streaming device, hands down! Their app store is open to all - so no worries about being tied to the Apple or Android ecosystem. I will say, if you don't have a 4K TV - the new Roku Streaming Stick (the black one, not the purple one) may be a better option since it has the same processor as the Roku 4.

Although the Roku 2 might have been the best buy, I went with the 4 primarily because of the enhanced wireless. Streaming from internet to TV is almost flawless. The other features (4k Ultra HD and private listening) are an added bonus.

The Roku 4 is a great streaming box that has a myriad of content options. The interface could be better. Overall the Roku 4 is great although the Roku 3 would be the better buy until more 4K content is available. If you don't have a 4K tv then really no need to buy the Roku 4. Get the Roku 3 instead.

Easy to set up and works just as expected. I now watch Netflix movies on my tv instead of only watching Netflix on my tablet. The earbuds are an added plus. I am a very happy customer.

I absolutely love this thing they defiantly paid attention to detail on this thing. Remember if you are trying to stream 4K use a good HDMI cable or it will not detect the 4K display.

I set this roku up with my 4k tv and man does it stream well. Its 4k as well and the pic quality is amazing! Its user friendly and offers a lot of great apps.

checked it online before purchasing, the streamer gives a great value, only issue it's less fitting outside the US market. but still works fine and without issues. only small disappointment is that it's not an android based.

Faster then previous rokus. I am not having any heating problems. Some previous customers had this but the problem must have been fixed. Have not used 4k acct. I dont have a 4k tv.

The Roku 4 is a nice unit, certainly faster than the previous Roku's I've had. To be honest, though, I really don't think there is any significant improvement over prior Roku units, even with a 4K TV. I have a problem with this unit: if I select 4K TV (or 4K 10 bit TV which mine is) in the settings menu, streaming content (but NOT the interface or menus!) is very light and looks like the brightness is turned up way too high. It's not, though. Other content using the same settings with the same HDMI port looks just fine. I have to select 1080p as my TV in order for the black level to be correct. Everything in my video chain is HDCP 2.2 and my TV's black level is set to Low, so I'm not sure where the problem is. (Setting the TV's black level to High makes the problem even worse.) I am waiting for a response from Roku tech support. I've also had to do a hard reset of the unit a couple of times since I purchased it since it hung up. Since my UDHTV does HDR and Dolby vision, and the Roku does not, it really isn't very useful for me other than to access streaming content my UHDTV doesn't have in the Web OS interface, e.g., HBO Go, Showtime Anytime, etc., although these could be accessed through the TV's Web interface as well. The other point is that most UHDTVs will up-convert content to their native UHD resolution anyway. Overall, I don't think this is really worth the money if you have either a 4K TV that has a Web/streaming interface built in, or if you already have an older Roku, e.g., Roku 3.

We love the Roku-4. It's so much faster accessing everything like Netflix and Amazon Prime. Easy to use. My kids love it too.

I have a blu-ray player with Netflix app, but my boys lost the remote. I got this to give me the capability to continue watching Netflix and added an easy way to watch my Amazon and Met Opera videos. After my existing cable agreement ends, I will be able to look at cutting the cable.

It's a solid product. Roku already has a reputation in the set top box market. However, the only real reason to upgrade is if you have a 4k TV.

I wanted to simplify the streaming interface in our den/playroom and researched all the box options. I'm an "Apple guy" by default, but for the bang for the buck, the Roku won over Amazon, Apple, Google, etc.....

I like the Roku 4. The longer I have it the better I like it. Roku does good job in keeping their customers informed after their purchase via email updates and the like. I would buy again and recommend to others.

This is a product I read about in the local newspaper and online later. It's just perfect. For getting what I want to watch. Regular cable isn't great with boring real housewives, dating, stupid laugh track shows

Great sleek design, capable of playing 4k content. I would go with Roku 3 if you don't have a TV that supports it. There isn't much in the way of 4K content currently available so it isn't worth the extra money.
