Roku4 is easy to setup and the remote is a bonus. With an ability to attach earphones, great to watch tv shows in the night with Roku

Overall the device is very good but I mainly use it to watch OTA channels recorded on a tablo and the tablo channel is not that great.

We recently cut cable and were looking for a device to replace our chromecast since we needed a remote for everyday use. We decided on the Roku 4 due to all of the available channels and free content. After using it for a couple months we couldn't be happier. We chose series 4 since it offers 4k. We don't use it much yet but I imagine as more programming comes out in the higher quality format we will use it a lot more.

After thinking about cutting the proverbial cable cord for years, I finally did it with the Roku 4. An easy to use, streaming box with 4K video capabilities, you can't go wrong with this device. My only complaint is so few channels stream in advanced audio formats like Dolby Digital and Dolby EX, although this doesn't appear to be a Roku problem, rather a channel broadcast problem. Come on CNN, NBC, CBS, etc., get with it.

The Roku 4 was very easy to set-up and has been simple to use. It gives me one central display for the various streaming services. We use Sling, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. We also got a free trial of HBOGo, which I love. For a reasonable, one time purchase price, I have reduced my TV/Internet costs by more than $150 per month.

I am using Roku 3 since last two year. I bought Roku-4 for my new 4k TV. This is awesome device, very responsive and feature rich.

Very favorable but it did not work for streaming on an older flat screen so he had to use it on another flat screen in a bedroom.

I had a Roku 3 that I gave to my daughter when the 4 came out. I bought the 4 because of the added features. I have since given the 4 to my son and picked up an Ultra at a pre launch price that was less then the 4. We all now enjoy what I find to be a very easy tool to use for streaming. My daughter and son do not subscribe to any cable and have thanked me for the Roku's so they can add so much to their viewing

This is a great product has lost of free stuff but does make ur non smart tv smart i have had one issue with the box getting warm talked to the roku rep and he said its normal.

I love the ability to turn off roku as older models did not have that feature. This is the third roku product I have purchased.

I bought this in a panic mode when my wife told me that she needed something that would stream Sling to be able to watch an important college football game. I already have AppleTV, and version 4 would do Sling - However, mine was version 3. Doing some in-store browsing, I noticed that I could get Sling and a whole lot more than the new AppleTV could provide with the Roku 4, and could also get 4K video (which I'm appalled that AppleTV has yet to provide). So, I decided to roll the dice. Glad that I did - very pleased with the purchase over getting yet another AppleTV. I do wish that I had waited one more week to get the Roku Ultima - but didn't know that it was on the horizon at the time.

I bought it for my sister so far it works great she loves it and I'm thinking of buying one for myself.. it's a great product

This box is very user friendly. Easy to setup and use!

I just got a 4K TV which is why I wanted the Roku 4 due to it displays in 2160. It has great access to 4K media. I use it for Netflix 4K and Amazon. Its also allows me to use HBO GO one spot shop really. No lag or delay in video, no connection problem. Getting all your account set up takes time bit once its done its great.

I upgraded from the Roku 2, which I was perfectly happy with, simply because I want to upgrade to 4K devices. When I buy my ultra HD TV, I want to view Netflix and Amazon movies in 4K provided by the Roku 4. This device is super easy to set up! Plug and play basically. Found my wifi easily. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I own a Roku 3 and since I decided to move my 3 to another room I purchased the 4 to replace it. I've had better luck with the Roku 3 in 2 years then I have had with the 4 in 2 months. I may have just got a bad unit, but I have issues with disconnects and random restarts daily. I have also had snow screens where the unit for whatever reason displays nothing but snow. There are some nice features like the sleep state and the ability to turn it off if you're conscious of those things. With the numerous issues I've had I'm not happy with the unit and will be returning it for a 3.

even without the 4k factor, this system has many upgrades for the different apps like netflix compared to previous versions

I didn't think this was that much better than the Roku 3. Streaming still occassionally stutters (however I think it may be my internet speed). I also miss the 10 second rewind button which they got rid of on this model. Otherwise it does what promised.

Bought this to avoid digital cable box charges from cable company. Going to buy more so I can get rid of ALL cable boxes!
