Upgraded from Roku 3 and this product is just as good. Can't speak about 4k yet

I have basic cable and use this to access ESPN and other channels through Sling. If you have a good Internet connection, this works great. Roku also updates the system and the box updates itself to match, so you keep getting the newest interface.

It's easy to use you get Netflix Hulu and some others thing free for 3 months

This Roku 4 is the best streamer in the market you can find, forget apple tv (which is way more expensive), roku has way more apps and content than any other streamer in the market and it also includes 4K programing! if you are in the market for a streamer look no further!, this is the device for you. I love my Roku 4. I like how it has the 4K showcases which you can scan for movies and then takes you to that sight.

I have always loved the Roku streamers. I was not disappointed by the Roku 4, will get some for gifting this season.

4K streaming was evident. I love the ear plug feature for latenight viewing

I'm an Apple TV user and I have ChromeCast too, AppleTV doesn't have VUDU on it and that's where I've bought most of my recent movies. I bought this ROKU, because it has all of the Major Providers like VUDU, Amazon Prime, and Netflix plus a whole lot more. I splurged for the more expensive one only for the remote with headphones. I know a lot of the new TVs have smart compatibilities, but a lot of them don't have a good picture quality using wireless. I tested this myself, I was getting a lot of buffering and the pictures was blurry on my Samsung 55 inch while using VUDU, but while I switched to one of the others Roku, ChromeCast, or my AppleTV the picture was AWESOME and no buffering!!

Roku is the king of media boxes, forget apple tv. Their new box with 4K/HDR capabilities simply puts it on top of any media box at this moment. Faster processor allows for an excellent wireless internet connection. Performance is the best on this market and the choice of channels beyond recognition.

Looks great if you don't have a 4k tv to support it stick with the roku3.

The streaming-to-tv function is something I have wanted for a LONG time.

The Roku 4 downloads at lightning speed. Never an interruption of a movie or tv show. A definite must buy for those who want to move away from cable/ satellite.

Not good instructions included so good luck. Now I have a Sony high end tv and other high end equipment. I purchased this for my mother-in-law who is using this foe TVteka as smart tv did not have this. Ok as a guy I can usually figure out fairly quickly from pictures as most guys do. I,plugged it in and used the USB port on the receiver.it did not work. I used different ones on the receiver as it has 8. Again no luck. So on the phone to ROKU. They need better tech support as first one well,let's be kind and say he should get that job at McDonald's. Hung up called back 2nd person a lady did a little better but still did not get it to work until I suggested do I need to plug directly into the back of the tv. YES you have to have it plugged into only the TV not a receiver. Why it does not work through a receiver so you can get better sound is a suggestion they could work on. Then you need to go on line and do a bunch of things to get an account. Again no instructions so glad the 2nd lady still,on the phone and finally got it to work.

It's great at what it does. Simple set up& you get everything you need.
