Much better apps than Amazon TV and no ads. Loads quickly, and works great. Replaced my TWC Digital box with it also.

Easy setup, very fast

The Roku is very easy to setup (you'll need to have your smart phone, laptop or tablet nearby). It delivers high quality video extremely fast and I haven't had a single buffering delay since installation.

No more cable

I looked at Apple TV, Amazon tv, etc., but I decided on Roku 4 since its been the pioneer in streaming. No regrets!!! We love it!!!!

Cut the Cable!

We have cut the cable and now use the Roku 4 and a digital antennae to get all of our tv at a fraction of the price of cable. Roku 4 has a digital optical output to connect to my surround sound. Picture quality is perfect, better than cable.

Good once setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this but it took a bit to get it setup. I bought it for its 4k ability and being on sale. I knew there was a 4k tv in the very short future so got it when it went on sale. That meant I was initially attaching it to a non-4k TV. I am attaching it to a Denon AV-Reciever which then connects to the TV. If you don't have the tv and AV on before the Roku it has a hard time figuring out what it attached to. I ended up with a screen flashing on and off. The solution was to turn the tv on, the AV on and then plug in the Roku. Once it figured out what it was attached to the setup proceeded. For this reason it lost a star. Thanks to the internet I was able to find a possible solution. Roku's web site wasn't that helpful.

Roku is Great

The direct wired connection to internet or WiFi option is good. I guess I could have just got Xbox One S. The Price is kind of high but 4K ultra was added for 1080 resolution.
