I noticed that content that was not formatted in 4K originally, still had a brilliant picture due Roku 4 up-scaling feature. The amount of 4K content is limited for now, but the Roku team has compiled them into a user-friendly interface.

This unit is great and we are now using it regularly to watch movies and favorite old TV series on Netflix. We've been watching "The Andy Griffith" show recently. Getting many laughs.

this was my first Roku and I could not be happier . simple to use fun and many games/apps to download. some access still needed to view some sites but over all very happy with unit.

I love my Roku. All my streaming apps in one place. The earphone jack in the remote is so useful (especially you don't wanna Eshe the baby).

I have the older model that is now three years old. So I decided to upgrade. Amazing picture and performance! Snappy, smooth and trouble free. Just what you want. Wish it had better software to stream ripped and downloaded videos

I upgraded from the initial version of Roku to the Roku -4. The difference in the quality of streaming is incomparable. The features are much advanced and is very easy to set up

Got tired of paying the ever-increasing fees for cable. The Roku 4 works great for us and we are enjoying our programs whenever we want to.

This player can do a few things others can't. It has a more robust library of apps you can use for your streaming needs. The menu systems are nice and well laid out. I enjoy it.

If you want to enhance your tv experience.this is a must-have.the richness of the color and pictures will take your breath away.it will help you to get the most out of any tv.

My fiance and I bought this to go with a new 4K television we bought. We have a few Roku 3's and have had good luck with them. We set this one up and fired up Plex to test it out only to find that the audio and video were out of sync. We tried a different show.. same problem. We tried Netflix.. same problem. We turned to Google for help and found that others have been reporting the same problem since October of last year both on Roku's forums and other sites. We tried all of the potential solutions that people suggested, but none of them worked. We contacted Roku via their online chat and were told that this is an unknown issue. We pasted links to the threads on their site where others had complained of the issue and Roku representatives attempted to help them to prove that it is definitely NOT an unknown issue. The representative told us they would send information to their technical support team, but couldn't promise us a time-frame for resolution. We ended up returning it before our return window closed. Hopefully, Roku will get their stuff together and fix this issue. Until then, we'll use a different device to access our 4K content.

I have used multiple streaming devices, including those included in smart TVs, and this is the by and far clear winner. If you don't need 4K, the Roku 3 works just as fast.

I've had Roku devices for years and this one simply blows them all away. Speed= Yes, 4k = Yes, all the content you ever need = Yes!!

This version of the Roku does exactly as expected. The only downfall that I see is in order to use the 4k resolution, you have to have the HDCP 2.2 port or a converter.

I love Roku and have the Roku 3 and stick, but I had to return this device as the fan was simply too loud. It was a real distraction.

I don't currently have a 4K TV, but I'll be ready for when I do! This is my second Roku. Originally had a Roku 2. The Roku 4 is much faster than my old system. I also like all the features that come with this model.

works great, just learning all the ins and outs of all the different aps we can access a little weird having a remote with headphones attached but great too. good value

The first one not working. Tried to get it to work for a whole day. Finally returned it and got a new one. Working great! Love if!

I enjoy the Roku 4, and the ease it allows me to jump through streaming services that I currently subscribe to. I do get occasional lag or freezing, even after upgrading to a 300mps internet package and getting a new high end modem and router. To be fair this mostly occurs while using SlingTV, which I just signed up for, and not very often with Netflix or Hulu. I also appreciate the ease of adding new channels and how that has given me access to so much free content that I didn't realize was out there.

Seems to work pretty good. Occasionally things will freeze to load, but not sure if that is due to internet, but our other roku 3 doesn't freeze at all. Love all the apps and things to use since we do not have cable.

Works great! Paid for itself in 1 month. I can watch what I want without paying for channels I don't want. My kids love it!!! Better than DVR! I can binge on my favorite shows on the weekend. Absolutely love it!!!
