I had an Apple TV already and we like this device just as much if not better. Would probably buy another Roku before we bought another Apple TV. Great Ease of use and not as many issues as we had with the Apple TV.

Works as advertised. Easy set up. Many channels to choose from, especially 4K content channels. Remote with headphone jack is great for late night viewing. Great addition to home entertainment and for cordcutters.

I have the new Apple TV and the Roku 4. They are both great devices and do everything they advertise well. The video streaming quality is great and the sound quality is better than the Apple TV and louder. Amazon Prime is included on the Roku 4 but not on the Apple TV. A cool feature is the remote has a headphone jack and sounds good when watching a movie. It has lots of options for 4K TV's and I honestly can't think of any issues I've had so far so I gave it 5 stars based on a good user experience.

This is a nice media player. I bought it to replace my aging Roku XD and I am very satisfied with it. I have not had a chance to truly explore everything that this can do but I think I'll find a lot of uses for it.

I miss the audio connection like the old Roku and I had to connect it straight to the TV instead of through my home theater, but Roku 4 delivers a great picture.

This is a great streaming unit. It has a lot of channel options including free and pay options. I would really recommend this unit for streaming video and music.

I purchased this after reading many big tech reviews stating this was a great product to have compared to similar streaming products. But after many attempts and calls to Roku I never got it to work. It automatically uploaded then would never coming back on after it reset after the update. After returning this product 3x's and having Roku trying to convince me that it was my tv and not their product I decided to return it for good and purchase the newest Apple TV. It worked right out the box so apparently it was not an issue with my tv. I would not recommend the Roku do to not only the product having issues but the customer service being horrible. The rep actually got an attitude with me when she couldn't convince me of the problem being my tv.

Purchased this Roku to replace Roku 3 when purchased 4K UHD television. Very satisfied with picture and audio quality. Still not a lot of 4K content available, but this is not a reflection of the Roku product.

This is the 4th Roku I've purchased. i wanted to upgrade from the Roku Stick. Same format but it's definitely faster. The headphone jack in the remote is an excellent feature for those using it as a bedroom TV.

Easy setup. Connecting to wifi was easy. Plenty of shows and apps to pick from. With Roku, an antenna, sling tv, Hulu, and Netflix cutting the cable was easy.

Excellent upgrade from Roku XD. Fast and has many apps.

The Roku4 is an upgrade for me from Roku2. I purchased this to be able to view 4K UHD content. So far , the Roku4 has been excellent in streaming 4K. The picture is superb and there are no streaming problems.

We had an older version of Roku and decided to upgrade. We love how fast the remote is, the fact that you don't have to point it at the TV to change use it, and the picture quality is great with out 4K tv.

I'm actually not a huge fan of the interface but it's easy to navigate and the performance and wide range of apps available make it the safest bet and really the only well rounded option for 4K streaming.

I bought to go with my new 4k tv. Works great. Picture quality is awesome on all my steamed content. A little bit pricey but worth it if you have a 4k tv

Newest Apple TV does not have optical out. And it's software is limited. This roku is fast, lots of channels, and for those that have home audio systems with optical out this Roku has it available.

So upgraded my old Roku XD second generation. User interface is a lot more responsive. Always like the access to many content providers unlike Apple tv.

Easy to use right out of the box. No complicated set up. I wish the remote were a little more robust, but other than that we love streaming with the Roku.

this is the best player i bought it is great in resolution i would recommend this player for 4k tvs great graphics. affordable way to watch tv because you can choose which channels you want to buy.
