Roku 4 runs very warm and the response is not as quick as I am used to with the Roku 3. I expected more features

It is a good player, but we aren't at the point where we can take great advantage of 4k. And in reality it's not Roku's fault, but it is not absolutely necessary to have a 4k media player right away.

Roku is an awesome streamer, if you are looking to find availability for 4K movies, the 4K Spotlight shows you all movies available in 4K. Great buy

Works very well but if your tv isn't smart tv and you only have wireless internet it's terry hard to set up so we had to use it on our smart tv and not the one we originally wanted to use it on.

The Roku 4 is awesome! Not only is it great for any tv, I move it to the bedroom at night to use the headphones, but it can stream 4K! It was a perfect addition to my entertainment systems.

We dropped cable due to the extremely high cost. Doing research I found the Roku 4 offered the best for our needs. After using it for several months now I would recommend this to everyone!!

The Roku 4 is for the most part, identical in operation to the Roku stick I have been using. The main difference is the ability to stream 4K programing, plus the space it occupies (as opposed to the Roku stick which simply plugs in to back or side of television). The main problem (IMO) is that there is very little 4K programing (movies or shows) that justifies purchasing this more expensive version. I would recommend holding off purchasing this version until there is significantly more "real" 4K programing available - not just YouTube or Go Pro clips.

This product was great but we returned it because we already had these same thing on our DVD player. Otherwise we would have kept this product.

I returned the Apple TV and bought this instead. Love it. The interface is intuitive, took me 1 second to figure it out. Very happy with it.

I purchased this to replace a Roku 3 that I had that worked fine. I actually could of just replaced the remote my wife accidently tossed into the washer....long story. But, didn't want to wait, and it was an excuse to get a new Roku 4. Not much of an improvement from the Roku 3. Except maybe for 4K, if you own a 4k tv. I don't own a 4k tv, and splurged on this when I probably should of just got another remote, or get the roku3 again.

Roku 4 is the winner in the streaming player because of the 4K capability. I am happy with the number of channels as well in addition to 4K.

1st roku i bought. I like it a lot. Good 4k quality. Just wish it had xfinity tv app on there as well. It also needs a on/off button instead of going trough the settings to shut it down.

Works great with my 4k UHD TV. Definitely see a difference in viewing quality.

This has been a fantastic streaming solution. When compared to the other options for streaming solutions, the Roku is by far the most configurable. I'd certainly buy this product again.

Tons of channels, no monthly fee for the device itself. This is an excellent way to access just about any streaming service, without needing to buy advanced WiFi enabled TV's.

Bought 2nd unit. Placed it in cabinet and noise is not a problem. Down not always start with remit and takes manual start from brine to time but great with 4K and navigation is easy.

The roku 4 works great except the remote has a habit of unpairing it from the unit. So when I go to use it I have to unplug the roku and replug back in and then the remote works.

Roku is a great option to replace cable. My internet remains from my cable company, but my service is from Roku. Between that and Fandango, we have access to everything we need.

Easy to use. I miss being able to pause and forward all of the shows. Some shows I have to watch the whole episode in one sitting because you can't pause and then return.

I upgraded to the 4 after having a 2 for a few years. What an upgrade. Tons of free programming along with all of the sub channels plus 4K channels. This is why I don't have cable.
