I needed something to stream 4K to my new 4K projector. It works awesome.

I have had a Roku for years, but none of them compare to the new 4K box.

Purchased because I have one already and needed one for an additional TV

I bought it for my brother for Christmas and he loved it.

well with the new 4k tv upgrade might as well upgrade the roku as well

I recently bought the new Apple TV, but took it back because I wanted to store media locally (the 64 GB is only for apps). After I took that back, I got the Roku 4. For some reason we always come back to the Roku, we now have three connected to three TVs. What I like: -I love the remote finder. -The user interface is intuitive, my kids can operate it just fine. -The voice search is cool, but I don't see myself using that feature very often. -The fan is silent. Lots of other reviews complained about the fan, our unit is silent. What I don't like: -No Bluetooth. I would have loved to use my Bluetooth headphones like I could on the Apple TV. The headphone jack on the remote is fine, but broke on our Roku 3 pretty quickly. -I don't have a 4K TV yet, so the Roku 4 functionality is nearly identical to the Roku 3. In my opinion the Roku 3 is still a better device. -It doesn't turn off automatically when idle. The screen saver ran all night and the unit was really warm when we woke up. I found a setting that will turn it off after 30 minutes, but that's not a default. -It was quite a bit bigger than I expected, particularly when compared to the Roku 3. Bottom line, this is a great product. If you don't have a 4K tv, and you aren't planning on getting one, save the $30 and go with the Roku 3. But go with the Roku. I believe Roku makes the best streaming devices on the market, better than Google, Apple, or Amazon.
