Great product. Was not happy about It not supporting my 4K UHDTV as this product has come out with new HDCP HDMI output which I came to know after I bought the product and my TV is also just 1 year old. But though it does not support 4K due to new HDCP, it still has great picture quality.

Clearer picture with a voice activated search I really like.

We bought the newest Roku as our first Roku. We had decided to ditch cable and stream the premium channels instead. We have a newer smart TV, so we could get some of what we wanted without anything else, but we wanted HBO Now which our smart TV didn't offer, so we did our research online and decided to invest in a Roku. Honestly, we stopped at Best Buy to pick up the 3, but they were out so it was either wait or buy the 4. I'm so glad we got the 4. It's fast and the picture is great! And we aren't even taking advantage of the full capability yet. When we do get a 4k tv, we won't have to upgrade. The Roku4 will be ready.

Runs smoothly with no buffering. Very easy to install.

Read bunches of unbiased and independent reviews on how to "cut the cable" at home. All of them recommended this unit. After buying I understand why. Super easy to set up, thousands of channels (most free), instant response to remote commands, has an optical output so easy to get 5.1 out of the home theater system, does U4K conversion, once you've used the voice search function of the remote you'll wish everything worked that easy. I'm going to replace the Roku 2, Roku 3, and Roku Streaming Stick units I have now with this unit quick as I can afford to! Hint: Put Plex on it. Digitize your movies onto a computer in your home. Super easy to call up whatever movie you want to watch when you want to watch it.

Roku 4 is the best 4K player out there. It works with mist video streaming services including Amazon, Google Play, Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, HBO and Showtime. Menu's are quick, and the remote works great. Also support ls IR remotes if you are using a universal remote.

I was told by a best buy employee that this was something I should consider adding to my home theater setup. He was absolutely right! I use this ever time a decide to stream content. I also own 4 apple TVs and would buy this over an Apple TV. Great product!

Love love love my Roku! We dropped Directv and took a chance on getting a Roku... I wish I would have made the change sooner! Very user friendly, small and portable! We got our Roku so we could subscribe to SlingTv, which is also great. We are actually going to take our Roku on a roadtrip soon to show it off!

Great product. There are gazillions of stations. It makes it easy to cut the cable, which i did. I'm now saving about $140 per month. Roku 4 is much better than roku 3! It is worth spending a little extra for Roku 4. Roku 4 is much better than apple tv.

Roku 4 is the top of the line Roku option. It is designed for 4K televisions so that the best possible picture comes through. With that Roku, we subscribed to Acorn which is strictly British series and movies.

The roku 4 is the most user friendly, non biased, most app heavy Internet TV device out there. Plays 4k at 60fps and now has a button for remote finder. It's the perfect way to make any TV "smart" or your smart TV a genius. It's way easier to use then the fire TV or apple TV imo. It's almost perfect.

This is the best Roku especially if you have a 4k tv. Picture quality is excellent and the interface is quick. There is some glitchiness with the remote being stuck sometimes. Hopefully this will be fixed with a software update. Fan noise is very minimal and cannot be heard when watching content.

Of all the reviews saying it's the same as the 3 except for 4K they are wrong. The ROKU 4 upscales everything to the highest resolution of your TV or projector. Richer, deeper and more amazing picture from the same video on the ROKU 4 vs ROKU 3.

I had a Roku 2 XS which has been great, but it was time for a upgrade. So read up on all the new streaming players and decided to go with the Roku 4. It is so much faster and the voice command is great!

I have a new Sharp Aquos 4K Ultra HD tv and got this Roku 4 to go with it plus a new 4K Ultra HDMI cable. I am getting a beautiful picture BUT I am having continual blue flashes when I use the 4K Ultra HD display setting on the Roku, making it annoying to watch. I had to reduce the display setting to 1080p to get rid of the issue; not what I wanted out of these purchases. Roku customer support is unbearable and thus far no help. checked online and found quite a few forum entries dealing with this same issue with Sharp Ultra HD TVs. Other than this issue, it seems to work fine streaming Netflix, HULU and Amazon. Would recommend as long as you don't have a Sharp TV.

I bought these for the 4k feature. Was looking at the Amazon Fire TV but read that Roku had better features for what I was looking for. Love that I can connect my headset to the remote. The box do run a little hot though. I am pleased.

I bought this device primarily because I cut the cord, from cable services I mean, and needed a way to watch HBO Now on my TV. This does the job, without so much as a hiccup, going on past a couple of months since I bought it. It also streams Netflix, Amazon Prime, and all the other popular services, though I only use the aforementioned. The box is very slim and compact, thinner and lighter than most Blu-ray and DVD boxes, and certainly smaller than a cable box. Resolution and audio work as expected, and I am able to enjoy 1080p quality streaming. Overall, I strongly recommend this device to anyone considering making this purchase.

Best Roku experience. 4K addition is a must. I was going to get new pple TV, but no 4K Apple ruin it sucks. About noises on fan on Roku4, not on my unit and i spoke to customer service and they said if i have that issue they will replace with a new revision one. SO feel free to buy it.

The Roku was easy to set up with minimal cords so really anyone with limited knowledge of devices could figure it out. The headphones that plug into the remote are awesome if one of your household is sleeping and someone wants to watch tv. Has every app you can think of ready to load.

Easy to connect. Fast performance. I went from a Roku classic to this Roku 4 and I am super happy with my purchase. Voice search works perfectly. It is a pleasure to use.
